Oh, Hearts is aware that there wasn't anything malicious behind Goku doing that; he doesn't need to explain himself. It's just a little jarring to be on the receiving end of what the hybrid usually does on a regular basis.

Huh, what a complicated guy. It wasn't like he was intentionally doing it. He just sometimes remembers he has the ability and trying to recall how to do it results in accidentally picking up the thoughts of whoever happens to be near in a similar manner to the hybrid, but not quite to that degree. He's gonna stare at the other for a few moments before turning his head away and tuning out, deciding not to pursue further with whatever was going on in Hearts' mind.

It depends. Goku might hear something pretty mundane, or strange, or possibly nothing at all. But the one thing that would be constant is that Hearts' mind is never truly quiet. (Mostly due to the nigh-constant stream of thoughts that he passively picks up on each day and usually treats as white noise (unless he decides to focus in on something in particular.)

He’s reading your muse’s mind, what does he see?

Ah, so she didn't like his choice of style, then. Hearts nodded to himself --- That made sense. Although... There was something about the vehemence that he had often sensed rolling off of the brown-haired saiyaness whenever she spoke of (or had to be around) him that told the mind reader that things went far deeper than just that.

"What can I say? I like the look and feel of it." There wasn't any rhyme or reason to it, really. He just liked how the colors went together while also standing out (and making him stand out in the process), how the coat(s) looked, how the fur felt and looked, how it made him feel and look etc.; It was all just a matter of preference.

“So,” a ‘familiar’ voice began “I see you’re still in one piece.” The owner of said voice had spotted Bragi and decided to approach him and see how he was doing after their last conversation. Although it wasn’t any of his business, the mind reader couldn’t help but be concerned about the young Kai and had been thinking about the fate that could have befallen him somewhere in the back of his mind when he had went back to his respective space-time for the holidays. So, once he had decided to return to work again, Hearts sought out Bragi to check up on him.

“Well, that’s just fantastic! Do you still have any lingering worries or concerns over what we had discussed?”

(This scene right here.... I've been pondering some things about it.

It's clear that Hearts is seeing these events unfold in real time through the use of a gravity cage (and also probably his own psionic abilities), but like, how exactly is he doing this?

I've been toying around with the idea of it being connected to the soul or heart in some way. Like, he's able to watch people or events in real-time/"scry" (through the use of a gravity cage as a conduit) so long as a person's heart isn't closed off and/or their soul is still "in existence" or something --- I just haven't decided on which one of these works out better yet (or if I should just go with both. :v)

#Those Bastards Ground Me Down [OoC]#Man- Hearts has so many cool abilities; it's a shame that most of them tend to get overlooked. :v #I would LOVE to be able to put this (and some of his other abilities) to use in a thread or interaction one of these days #Been distracted by Palworld lately but I might try and get around to some of the things that I owe people soonish #But for today- I might try and actually draw something #I just wanted to get my thoughts out on this because it's something that I've been tentatively thinking about

Feeling the weight of the ambivalent stare, Hearts turns toward the scarlet-colored demon and gazed at it thoughtfully as he tried to get a read on its heart or thoughts.

Your Muse as a Tea

I'm not a tea person, so I don't have anything of interest to say about the kind of tea it is, flavors or notes. I also couldn't decide on what color I wanted the tea itself to be, but I am a little disappointed that I couldn't color the teacup and plate black (while keeping the red and gold trimming. :v) So, uh... Feel free to interpret how it tastes or the kinds of qulities it has however you'd like!

Which scar was caused by the worst wound?

(Probably the one on his chest. ...Not that he was alive by then to experience it, but to get a little more into specifics: he was cut open and experimented on to some extent. Things didn't just stop at that --- Part of his face, his eyes, part of a thigh and even a foot -- All of that got replaced with something else. So... I guess those could theoretically be considered scars as well?)

Note: The "I don't remember"s are because I don't think he would have been aware that he got cut up/mixed-and-matched, he just knows that something happened; the shape and placement of some of these things might be played around with at a later date.)
