Moon 8 ----------------- Adderstar's broken bone has finally healed. ----------------- Riversight has come down with whitecough. ----------------- Heavychest's yellowcough has been treated. ----------------- Thornpaw has reached the age of 6 moons and been apprenticed to Stonegaze.

---------------- Ryepaw has reached the age of 6 moons and been apprenticed to Adderstar, the adolescent is overjoyed to have the honour of apprenticing under the leader.

---------------- Patrols ---------------- Patrol members: Cinderdapple, Stonegaze, Blazenose, Ryepaw, Heavychest and Grayfur. ---------------- Patrol type: Border. ---------------- Patrol details: As the group head out and start marking border lines and chatting amongst themselves, a group of rogues erupts from the brush, claws unsheathed and teeth bared. Cinderdapple reacts fast, "Ryepaw stay back!" He yowls as he leaps at the group, fur flying and screeching follows. The rogues are startled by his ferocity, realising how severely they had underestimated the patrol they turn tail and run. Ryepaw is shaken by the incident, Cinderdapple comforts her as they head back to camp. ----------------- Patrol members: Thornpaw, Adderstar, Sloepaw, Stormreed, Frostwhisper and Shadefoot. ----------------- Patrol type: Border. ----------------- Patrol details: As they head along the east border, Adderstar spots two kits from Partridgeclan playing close by. He calls Shadefoot to accompany him and orders the others back to camp, the pair collect the kits in their maws and trot over to Partridgeclan. They are immediately greeted by the leader, who recognises Adderstar- knowing him to be a kind and caring tom. He thanks the duo profusely for bringing the kits back promptly and safely. Relations with Patridgeclan have improved. ------------------ Patrol members: Oakpelt. ------------------ Patrol type: Herb-gathering. ------------------ Patrol details: Oakpelt heads out, searching for more horsetail as supplies are starting to get low again. She gathers as much as she can carry and heads back.

MOON 0 ------------ Patrol members: Stonegaze, Stormpaw, Grayfur, Frostwhisper, Shadefoot and Adderstar ------------ Patrol type: Border ------------ Patrol details: The cats set out, padding along the borders of Brambleclan and chatting amongst themselves. Adderstar stops abruptly, hearing something rustling in a nearby bush he commands his clanmates to halt as he creeps closer hoping to assess the situation and figure out what lies on the border. Shadefoot stays close to the slim tomcat while Frostwhisper continues quietly marking the border, the other cats continue their conversation in hushed whispers. Before Adderstar has a chance to react a group of rogues erupts from the bushes, claws unsheathed and teeth bared. "Stormpaw, go home." He yowls, commanding the rest of the patrol into battle as the young apprentice cowers with a fearful glint in his eyes. The Brambleclan warriors fight viciously, soon chasing the rogues out of their borders and returning to camp unscathed. Adderstar reprimands Stormpaw upon their return, shouting at the young tom for disobeying his orders. ----------- Patrol members: Moonfeather ----------- Patrol type: Border ----------- Patrol details: Moonfeather heads out on her own, sent to ensure the rogues haven't returned by Adderstar. She pads along the borders, picking up on a scent left by Partridgeclan. Moon 7 ----------------- Cinderdapple wants to spend more time with Moonfeather. ----------------- Frostwhisper is having a wonderful time discussing recent clan news and events with Cinderdapple. ----------------- Blazenose's broken bone has finally healed and her infection is gone. ----------------- Moonfeather slipped on some rocks and badly twisted her paw. ----------------- Patrols ----------------- Patrol members: Sloepaw, Stonegaze, Blazenose, Frostwhisper, Stormreed and Riversight. ----------------- Patrol type: Border. ----------------- Patrol details: The patrol is barely at the border when they spot a small and aggressive dog, Frostwhisper commands the cats to attack but for Sloepaw to be careful and hang back. They pace confidently towards the mutt, claws out and fur on end- the creature barks at them but the cats rush it. The dog soon runs off with its tail between its legs. The warriors congratulate Sloepaw on a job well done and give thanks for her help. ------------------ Patrol members: Grayfur and Oakpelt. ------------------ Patrol type: Herb gathering. ------------------ Patrol details: Grayfur jumps at the opportunity to help Oakpelt gather herbs and the pair head out. It's a stormy day, one of the worst of the season so far and Oakpelt is visibly grumpy. Grayfur decides he needs to find a way to cheer her up, he splashes puddle water onto her and she fluffs up. She giggles, splashing him back and the two have a water fight. Once it's over they carry the horsetail they gathered back to camp, Oakpelt visibly happier than when they set out and Grayfur feeling accomplished, admiring the smile on the she-cats face. ------------------ Patrol members: Cinderdapple and Shadefoot. ------------------ Patrol type: Border. ------------------ Patrol details: Feeling bored, the pair decide to head out on a quick border patrol. They pad along the thunderpath only to hear a cat crying for their housefolk on the other side- checking it is clear the pair cross and find a wailing kittypet.. another one? It was only one moon ago that they found Heavychest in this same spot. They console the cat, learning his name is Coco and bring him back to camp to see Adderstar. The leader grants him his clan name, Haygleam.

Moon 6 ---------------- Stormreed was seen having a very serious conversation with a kittypet, who ran away when a patrol approached. When questioned he informed Adderstar he was warning the stranger that the forest is no place for a kittypet and to return to their housefolk. ----------------- Oakpelt inspects the herb stores and discovers all the horsetail ha gone bad, she plans to replenish it on a patrol. ------------------ Ryekit apologised to Heavychest for what he has been through. ------------------ Grayfur caught Frostwhisper complaining about him to another cat, glaring at him from the shadows. ------------------ Relationships: Grayfur dislikes Frostwhisper even more now, and vice versa. Stormreed has developed romantic feelings for Stonegaze. ------------------ Patrol members: Cinderdapple, Frostwhisper, Moonfeather, Riversight, Sloepaw and Grayfur. ------------------ Patrol type: Border. ------------------ Patrol details: The patrol heads along the border, Grayfur scowls at Frostwhisper from behind. Sloepaw pauses, noticing pawprints in the mud beneath the canopy and calls Cinderdapple over who commends the adolescent for her keen eye. Riversight takes the lead, following them to a tresspassing rogue- she hisses with fur on end, commanding the stranger to leave immediately and not to come back or else. The rogue turns and leaves without a fight, outnumbered and intimidated. ------------------ Patrol members: Shadefoot, Stonegaze and Stormreed. ------------------ Patrol type: Hunting. ------------------ Patrol details: Being assigned on patrol with Stonegaze has Stormreed twitching with excitement, he's been desperate to spend more time with her lately. Shadefoot leads the patrol, allowing the pair to chat and catch up along the way. They come across an abandoned twoleg nest that is rife with rats, "this is the perfect hunting ground, spread out." Shadefoot mews happily. The patrol gets to work rounding up and killing the rats off one by one, and by nightfall they have so many that it requires two trips to bring them all back to camp. Shadefoot is praised for his ingenious planning and Stormreed is overjoyed having such a successful hunt and being able to spend so much time with Stonegaze.

Moon 5 -------------- Sloepaw has reached the age of 6 moon and been made an apprentice, she recieved her apprentice name Slowpaw and will be mentored by Cinderdapple.

-------------- Oakpelt had a fight with Ryekit and Thornkit, she has grown to dislike the two kits for their outsider roots and feels they are disrespecting the ways of clan life. --------------- Grayfur and Frostwhisper had a spat over prey from the fresh-kill pile and are refusing to speak to each other. ---------------- Relationships: Oakpelt has grown to dislike Ryekit and Thornkit. Frostwhisper continues to greatly dislike Adderstar and has grown to dislike Sloepaw and Grayfur. ---------------- Patrols ---------------- Patrol members: Cinderdapple, Riversight, Moonfeather, Grayfur, Frostwhisper and Shadefoot. ---------------- Patrol type: border ---------------- Patrol details: As the warriors walk near the thunderpath, they hear a cat begging their housefolk to come back, barely legible over the sound of a monster speeding away. Frostwhisper takes the lead, quickly trotting to the source of the desperate mewls with the rest of the patrol in tow. They find a kittypet laying on the side of the thunderpath wailing for their twolegs, Shadefoot approaches and comforts them the best he can. "why have they left you here?" Quizzed Frostwhisper, the kittypet sniffled "I don't know, I'm not sure, it must be because I'm sick" Shadefoot sighed and shook his head, exchanging a look with Frotwhisper, "Come with us." The patrol lead the cat back to camp, learning his name was Gargoyle- Adderstar decided to give the cat a warrior name of his own, Heavychest.

Upon arriving the cats are alarmed by a new scent at the sett, they decide they need to figure out if a badger has moved in and the three stuff the opening with leaves and sticks before heading back to camp to report to Adderstar. ------------- Patrol members: Oakpelt. ------------- Patrol type: Herb gathering. ------------- Patrol details: Oakpelt sets out to harvest some Oak leaves, it is greenleaf after all so they are in abundance this moon. She grabs as many as she can and heads back to camp to restock supply.

Moon 4 ------------- Ryekit went to Oakpelt about a dream she had, wondering what it meant. ------------- Stormreed heard an ugly rumour about Riversight, sharing what he heard with Frostwhisper. Supposedly she killed her previous litter of kits, Frostwhisper is unsure of how true that really is. ------------ Patrols ------------ Patrol members: Cinderdapple, Frostwhisper, Moonfeather, Stormreed, Stonegaze and Shadefoot. ------------ Patrol type: Border ------------ Patrol details: The cats set out in a larger group to reassess the badger situation, they stand a far better chance in a group of six. They head back to where they saw the sett, mentally preparing for a fight. As they sniff around the den a rustling quickly erupts from behind them and the beast charges- the cats run in different directions but Cinderdapple is caught in the fray. Her pelt torn and bloody, the other cats carry her back to camp making a quick escape. ------------- Patrol members: Grayfur and Oakpelt ------------- Patrol type: Herb gathering ------------- Patrol details: Grayfur decides to accompany Oakpelt to gather herbs after the recent attacks within the territory and she's grateful for the help. The pair hunt for lungwort, as the only reliable cure for yellowcough it's vital that they don't let the supply run out. The pair search for hours with no success, leaving with nothing but sore paws and dissapointment.

Moon 3 --------------- Shadefoot ran into trouble whilst on patrol and came face to face with a huge dog, Adderstar appeared and saved him but was badly injured in the process. --------------- Riversight got into an argument with Adderstar, though nobody is really sure what it was about. --------------- Shadefoot has greatly upset Sloekit by taking the last of her favourite nesting material for himself, the tom explained it's important to share- especially with your family. --------------- Grayfur purrs as Sloekit asks him to teach her a few things about being a warrior, the tom obliges and teaches the little kit how to do a hunters' crouch. --------------- Relationships: Frostwhisper has grown fond of Sloekit. Grayfur finds himself increasingly attracted to Oakpelt. Blazenose is developing a crush on Shadefoot. --------------- Patrols --------------- Patrol members: Stormreed, Moonfeather, Stonegaze and Frostwhisper --------------- Patrol type: Border --------------- Patrol details: The cats discuss rumours of a badger making its den on Brambleclan territory and after weighing up the pros and cons, decide to head over and take a look. Upon arrival to the west border, Stormreed warns the patrol against entering the sett and instead suggests sniffing around to determine if it is occupied. Frostwhisper stumbles upon fresh scat left by the badger and the patrol head back to camp to report their findings to Adderstar. --------------- Patrol members: Grayfur and Shadefoot --------------- Patrol type: Border --------------- Patrol details: Hearing of the badger lurking around and with Adderstar healing from the dogfight, the deputy and warrior head out to assess the situation and see what more can be done. As they pad along, making their way to the west border, the toms are interrupted by the sound of pawsteps within Brambleclan territory. Shadefoot unsheathes his claws and heads over to the sounds cautiously. The deputy is shocked when he finds himself nose-to-nose with a strange kittypet, she smiles at the startled patrol and introduces herself as Shimmer. She tells the pair that she has been training for many many moons after hearing of the clans, and that she is finally ready to join Brambleclan. The toms smirk at each other and head back to camp with her in tow. Upon explaining the situation to the injured leader, he accepts her into the clan and grants her a new warrior name- Cinderdapple.

--------------- Patrol members: Cinderdapple and Oakpelt --------------- Patrol type: Herb gathering --------------- Patrol details: Cinderdapple is so excited to go on her first patrol that she's almost bouncing as she walks alongside Oakpelt, who is not so amused. It was one of the worst storms of the season, prey and herbs were scarce and the former kittypet didn't seem to understand the harsh reality of clan life. The new clanmate talked Oakpelt's ear off, asking a million questions before the medicine cat finally had enough, "Please, for the love of Starclan, can you stop your mewling and let me find what I am looking for?" Cinderdapple looked upset by this, nodding quietly with what appeared to be tears welling up in her eyes. Oakpelt gathered Marigold and Lungwort, leaving some distance between herself and Cinderdapple on the way back to camp.

Moon 2 ------------ Shadefoot's torn ear has healed. Shadefoot has adopted Sloekit. ------------ Patrols ------------ Patrol members: Grayfur, Stormreed and Moonfeather ------------ Patrol type: Border ------------ Patrol details: As the cats reach the south border, they hear a strange rustling in the nearby foliage and cautiously move forwards. Stormreed takes the lead, approaching the brush slowly and sniffing around he is surprised to find a she-cat with her two kits. The tom asks what she is doing out here and she informs him she is a loner, she had been abandoned by twolegs after birthing her kits and had been struggling to survive out in the forest alone. Stormreed trotted back to his clanmates and after a quick discussion decided they couldn't leave her out here to continue fending for herself. The patrol head back to camp with the queen and her kits in tow, explaining the situation to Adderstar who humbly accepts the strangers into the clan and promising them safety within it. He grants the she-cat a warrior name, Riversight. Her kits are named Ryekit and Thornkit.

----------- Patrol members: Adderstar and Frostwhisper ----------- Patrol type: Border ----------- Patrol details: The two toms traipse the border, tensions high as Frostwhisper pushes for information on the loner he caught Adderstar talking to previously. The interrogation is cut short as they reach the thunderpath that runs through the forest and Frostwhisper notices a cat laying on the side of it, he speeds over to see what has happened. As he approaches the stranger, he sees signs of life, calling Adderstar to hurry and help him carry the injured stranger to camp for medical attention. The she-cat reveals that her name is Blazenose and thanks the patrol for their help. Frostwhisper queries where she had come from and she reluctantly shared that she had been exiled from her previous clan but would not share the details. The pale tomcat immediately felt a pit in his stomach and a twang of regret helping her, wondering what she did that was so awful. Adderstar pays it no mind and offers her a place in their clan as a warrior, which Blazenose graciously accepts.

MOON 0 ------------ Patrol members: Stonegaze, Stormpaw, Grayfur, Frostwhisper, Shadefoot and Adderstar ------------ Patrol type: Border ------------ Patrol details: The cats set out, padding along the borders of Brambleclan and chatting amongst themselves. Adderstar stops abruptly, hearing something rustling in a nearby bush he commands his clanmates to halt as he creeps closer hoping to assess the situation and figure out what lies on the border. Shadefoot stays close to the slim tomcat while Frostwhisper continues quietly marking the border, the other cats continue their conversation in hushed whispers. Before Adderstar has a chance to react a group of rogues erupts from the bushes, claws unsheathed and teeth bared. "Stormpaw, go home." He yowls, commanding the rest of the patrol into battle as the young apprentice cowers with a fearful glint in his eyes. The Brambleclan warriors fight viciously, soon chasing the rogues out of their borders and returning to camp unscathed. Adderstar reprimands Stormpaw upon their return, shouting at the young tom for disobeying his orders. ----------- Patrol members: Moonfeather ----------- Patrol type: Border ----------- Patrol details: Moonfeather heads out on her own, sent to ensure the rogues haven't returned by Adderstar. She pads along the borders, picking up on a scent left by Partridgeclan. Deciding it unwise to follow the trail alone she returns to camp to inform Adderstar of the intrusion. ----------- Patrol members: Oakpelt ----------- Patrol type: Herb gathering ----------- Patrol details: Oakpelt heads out into the forest, sniffing as she goes. The clan is low on cobwebs and as she hunts for them she ponders her dream from the previous night- was it sent by Starclan? A prophecy perhaps? She finds herself distracted from the task at hand but the time to think and mull it over has proven useful; she decides this requires action and returns to camp empty-handed to assemble Adderstar and Shadefoot to inform them of her dream.

Moon 1 ----------- Adderstar has been following Stormpaw's progress under Moonfeather's mentorship, pleased with what he has seen the leader calls the young tom forwards and grants him his warrior name- Stormreed in honour of his care.

------------ Stonegaze was seen chasing a rogue from Brambleclan territory, Adderstar praised her for her efforts. ------------ Adderstar was seen talking to a loner calmly before both cats parted ways, when questioned he didn't wish to share details of the interaction making Frostwhisper suspicious. ------------ Stormreed was climbing around the trees within the camp, despite having a good time he got a splinter from one of the branches. ------------ Oakpelt is feeling under the weather, she has a running nose. ------------ Frostwhisper had gone for a walk alone when he heard a dog approaching, panting and growling lowly as it sped at him. The tom sped into a nearby bush, not realising it was bramble and getting some cuts and scrapes in the process. ------------ Relationships: Shadefoot has grown fond of Sloekit, he is considering adopting her. Grayfur is developing romantic interest in Oakpelt, despite knowing she cannot have a mate. Frostwhiper dislikes Adderstar, he is suspicious of the leader after seeing him interacting with a loner. The snarling beast is no match for the six warriors, Shadefoot lunges and bites the mutt's leg but the dog spins and bites him- tearing his ear. The patrol bands together, managing to scare the thing off and returning to camp promptly so Oakpelt can tend to Shadefoot's ear. ------------ Patrol members: Moonfeather ------------ Patrol type: Hunting ------------ Patrol details: Moonfeather sets out alone to grab some prey for the kill pile having noticed it is waring thin. She comes across a thunderpath running through the forest and hesitant to cross, she searches for an alternate route. The clever she-cat finds a pipe that runs under the thunderpath and traipses through- making it across unscathed but a little damp. She comes back to Brambleclan after a successful hunt with a mouth full of prey. ------------ Patrol members: Oakpelt ------------ Patrol type: Herb gathering ------------ Patrol details: Oakpelt tests the air, unsure if it's warm enough to pick up some catmint yet.
