I love the moon.
Everything about her.
No, not just the full moon;
I love the new moon too,
and also every shape and size in between.
I love her in all of her different shades too;
The shining white,
The muddy yellow,
The bright orange.
The moon is there for you
When the sun is not.
The moon comes to your rescue
When your world is swathed in darkness.
She adapts herself,
According to time.
Have you noticed how the moon
Isn’t perfect at all?
How she isn’t a perfect circle all the time,
Or how she has all those battle scars?
And yet,
She is the most beautiful piece of the night sky.
She is completely unique;
Not even a trace of similarity with any thing else.
The moon doesn’t want to fit in
With the stars.
She is just happy,
Being herself. Be the moon.
Shine like the moon. ― Pragya Rakshita
