Actually maybe this is a bit of a deep cut, but originally I didn't consider them as officially married in my AU, only engaged. This was mostly cuz I wanted to eventually draw them getting married as like a "finale" to the whole thing LOL. Actually that's probably why I still refer to them as "Kaname" and "Akemi" respectively in text and in my scripts.

Idk if I can keep justifying this decicion though if I keep working at the snail's pace I have been. It might get ridculous if they're still not married 5 years from now & I have to do some gigantic retcon just to have this make sense LMAO

Then again, it's taken these two over a decade and god knows how many timeloops & they still haven't shared an on-screen kiss in canon, so maybe it wouldn't be THAT out of character if it takes them a while to finally tie the knot haha.

Headcanons hmmm... OK SO FIRST OF ALL obviously there's quite a lot of overlap between what's my headcanon and what's explicitly canon in my AU haha BUUUUT

I suppose my biggest headcanon would be that Homura is the more submissive of the two in romantic interactions lol. Like obviously she tries her hardest to come across as cool and confident, but deep down she's just the same socially awkward glasses nerd she's always been. One little smooch from her wife is enough to reduce her to a sobbing, stuttering mess.

On that note I think Madoka really enjoys teasing Homura for that exact reason LMAO. She finds it adorable when she can get that confident façade to slip and reveal that side of Homura that she never shows to anyone else.

Also this last one is uniqe to my AU, but I always imagined that Madoka & Homura got together sometime in high school, while Homura had a massive one-sided crush on Madoka in middle school. Madoka always had some lesbian tendencies (LMAO) but I don't think she ever conciously considered she might be gay until Homura confessed to her. After they started dating though, she realized her feelings for Homura really were romantic, and the the two officially became a couple soon after.

Hello all and sorry for the month long absence haha..... Honestly I've just been lazy & forgetful. Oh yeah and I've been sick, so I guess there's that as well Good news is I'm working on a KyoSaya comic!! YAAY!! And at the rate it's currently progressing it'll probably be done sometime in the next decade??? (I'll have to consider maybe speeding up my work process LMAO) Anyway since Magi Exedra released I reposted some of my art from tumblr on my Bluesky & Twitter, so that's where I've been spending my time (not that I've been very active on there either lol) I did post THIS little doodle tho, so there's something to tide you over until I get my lazy ass back to drawing more yuri haha
