That kid sounds like a douche bag. My mum and I never got along, and then when my dad died she kept drinking and hitting me and blaming me for him dying. Then finally I couldn't take it any more, so I hit her back.

Shadow… Is that like, a voice in your head or something? Why did you try to set the kid on fire, did they do something to you? -Takes a deep breath in- Well, I guess there’s a few things, but I almost killed my mother one night and I wasn’t mentally stable enough to go to jail so, here I am.

His answer was short and honest, it made Cleo feel as though she could trust him because he had nothing to hide.
"I almost beat my mother to death..."
Cleo looked down at her feet, ashamed of admitting the truth before continuing.
"I'm diagnosed with depression, passive-aggressiveness and sex addiction"
She looked up at Seb's face wanting to see his reaction.

"Thanks, it’s nice to meet you too" She returned his smile, and watched as he looked around the halls, he didn’t seem to have much more of an idea of where to go as Cleo did herself, but she couldn’t blame him, this place was enormous. He joked about his horrible sense of direction which made Cleo laugh a little because it reminded her of herself. He pointed down the hall that he had come form guessing that the Rec Room was somewhere down there but he didn’t seem very sure.
"Maybe I should go with you."
It didn’t take Cleo long at all to answer, jumping at the chance to not have to wander around on her own any more.
"Yes, please. This place gives me the creeps"

She takes a step down the hallway then turns to wait for Seb.
"So, what are you in here for?"

Cleo waited for his reply as he looked at her, for a moment she thought he was going to reject her but eventually he held the kitten towards her and said it's name was Bruce. Cleo took the kitten from him and brought it close to her chest, patting the little fur ball gently. She sat down beside the man, continuing to stroke Bruce.
"Thanks, my name's Cleo"
*The demon sits in the rec room with Bruce on his lap, gently petting the kitten and playing with his paws* You haven’t frown at all.. Hmm.. Cute..

Cleo walked into the rec room, hoping to find a movie to take her mind off of the therapy session she just come from. She seen someone sitting on one of the couches playing with something in his lap, she walked around, curious to know what it was and broke out in a wide grin when she seen it was a kitten.

"Oh my god, a cute little kitty, can I pat it, please?"

"My name’s Cleo"
She looked down each of the halls, both of them seemed to go on forever with nothing to suggest which was the right way.
"You wouldn’t know how to get back to the rec room, would you?"

Cleo stuttered, trying to grasp a hold of her words but coming up with nothing but unintelligible sounds. Her mind was a mess trying to comprehend what she had witnessed, finally she was able to speak again.
"What... What are you doing?! Did you just kill her?"

Cleo walked around aimlessly, lost in her own mind. A muffled sound coming from behind a closed door brought her back to reality, not being able to control her curiosity she swung the door open. It took her a moment to process what she was seeing, then she stepped back, unable to speak.

I’m sorry, I heard orphanages suck. I was in that one for three years then I spent a year in another asylum in Massachusetts before coming here… So if you where in a orphanage what landed you in this place?

Maybe if your cock was as big as your ego I would have.

[Cleo took a few seconds to recover from everything that had just happened before stepping out of the closet as well, watching as Jay disappeared down the hall]

Note to self, lets never do that again.

I grew up at a town about six hours drive from here, they have a small facility there that I was in for a few years. How about you?

Sebastian smiled as the girl spoke, breathing out a soft laugh. “I know how you feel. I’ve been here for a long long time and I still get lost,” he said with a smile before looking around. It had been well over a year since he first walked through the front doors to the asylum and he still felt like he would never quite get the hang of the place. Sometimes, he even wondered if the halls just moved around like the staircases in Harry Potter. “Oh! I’m Seb by the way,” he added as he realized he had yet to introduce himself.

Cleo watched the boy as he spoke, she had seen him around the asylum but they never had reason to talk to each other before. He looked exhausted, waving his hand as he tried to explain but instead giving up and asking if she was lost, the question made Cleo smile.
"Is it that obvious? I swear I'll never be able to find my way around this place, it's just so big"
Cleo had been wandering through the dark unfamiliar halls of the asylum for what felt like hours now. As time passed she had grown more and more fearful, thinking she could hear voices and see shadows moving, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest. She...

[Cleo had seen the new nurse's assistant around the asylum but had chosen to have nothing to do with him, she generally didn't trust the staff abd avoided most of them. But something about Garret seemed pure and being new to Broken was quite lonely at times, so after weeks of having no one to talk to, Cleo decided to give him a chance. She found the office door with his name on it and knocked softly, still unsure of if she should be doing this.]

[Garrett shuffled his papers and leaned back in his chair, sighing with a bit of relief. His work was done for the day and he was getting ready to do his rounds when came a soft knock at the door.]

Sure. Jesset… cool name, mine’s Cleo. How long have you been here? I haven’t seen you around much.

Cleo had been wandering through the dark unfamiliar halls of the asylum for what felt like hours now. As time passed she had grown more and more fearful, thinking she could hear voices and see shadows moving, she could feel her heart pounding in her chest. She reached the end of the hallway turning left and hoping that this was the way back to somewhere she recognized, she looked back down the long hall she had just come from thinking she had heard a noise when all of a sudden she slammed into something, a boy, the first person Cleo had seen since she realized she was lost.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there"

Sebastian walked down the hall, rubbing one of his tired eyes with a small barely audible sigh. He was exhausted and for the last week, his mood had been steadily plummeting for no reason at all. The boy rubbed the nape of his neck and groaned as he realized that he was lost yet again. Despite being here for so long, he still had no sense of direction.

[Cleo looked down at her food again and sighed, losing her appetite she pushed her plate away and turn back to the boy]
Hey.. urm, kid, what’s your name?
