Topic : DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

SUSTAINABILITY? NO MORE!

Sustainability isn't just a trendy buzzword; it's the future we need to secure. Our current practices, fueled by reliance on fossil fuels and unsustainable resource consumption, are wreaking havoc on the environment through climate change, resource depletion, and pollution. These issues have dire social consequences, leading to inequality, poverty, and health problems, while jeopardizing the well-being of future generations. We need to act now to transition towards sustainable practices and ensure a healthy planet for all. If we fail to do so, we risk facing unforeseen consequences, limited resources, and lost opportunities for a brighter future. The urgency is clear: sustainability is not just a concern, it's our responsibility.

Hi this is Niharika sharing the experience of 8 weeks Poster Design classes. The 3rd Poster is an INTERACTIVE POSTER, which is also a group project. An interactive poster is a poster that incorporates technology to allow viewers to engage with the content in a new and exciting way. And an element was chose from the following: WIT, HUMOUR, PUN, SARCASM or SATIRE. The ideas and brainstorms are:

Group projects can be challenging, but they can also be a rewarding experience that teaches you valuable skills like teamwork, communication, and time management. There were times when the activity was not proceeding, but at the end, we could put it out together (not the pictures below) :)

"POWER POWERR" (week 2)

Hi this is Niharika sharing the experience of 8 weeks Poster Design classes. In the second week, we had the first discussion and display of know my classmate poster.

Followed by Introducing the next activity. In this we were given the topic 'POWER'. First, we were asked to write words that come to your mind when we hear power on the black board. And it went like this…

And the discussion, that gave insight on limitless unique ways how people associated the same word.

Know My Classmate (week 1)

Hi this is Niharika sharing the experience of 8 weeks Poster Design classes. On 5th day of class we had an activity. Through this activity I got a chance to know Vinayak Agrawal with whom I had least interaction in class. Our exploration into the captivating power of visual narratives began with the insightful #knowmyclassmate project. This project ignited a flame of collaboration and creativity, weaving individual threads of perspective into a vibrant tapestry of shared stories. Embarking on this journey, we uncovered the potential of visual storytelling to unlock hidden depths, fostering deeper understanding and connection within our community.

I got to know about him and the he seemed to give An confident man vibes, who knows what and how to do things. So, I choose the text "TO ME STYLE IS CINSISTENCY" and the pictures certainly gave retro vibes even though the pics had colors.

After a lot of research on retro posters and trying out backgrounds, borders and fonts, I could finally make out a better poster.

And this is the FINAL POSTER which was finally well composed by 8th week :)

Hi this is Niharika sharing the experience of 8 weeks Poster Design classes. We Started the poster design classes, guided by Milly Singh with an introduction to "Posters" and "What is Poster design". Poster design is a graphic design specialty that focuses on creating eye-catching and informative posters. Posters are used for a variety of purposes, including advertising, promoting events, and raising awareness of important issues. A good poster design should be clear, concise, and visually appealing. It should also be able to communicate its message quickly and effectively to the target audience.
