Lambpaw, like every other healer apprentice before him, traveled to the Moonshell to be granted StarClan's approval. When he stared at his reflection in the massive, iridescent shell, he couldn't help but feel anxiety gnawing at him. His mentor, Salmonfleck, gently urged him on. Lambpaw touched his nose to the salty water within the shell.

He awoke in a place that nothing could have prepared him for. Gone were the lush forests and starry skies that Salmonfleck had told him of. Everything was dull and lifeless. The air was so still he could hear the blood in his veins. Fog shrouded the forest like a blanket. A single star hung in the grey sky, giving off cold light. Worst of all... there were no StarClan cats to be seen--

--until the fog began taking shape.

ok i havent used my computer since late september because it broke and i was sad i couldnt play minecraft or make more cats so i havent seen this until now (i dont use mobile tumblr) but YOOOOOO this is one of the most whitethroat designs of all times! thanks for taking my request :) love that man. the wing markings and fluffy tail... very good

this is gonna be a random one but for the cat designs how about whitethroat (that one shadowclan warrior who got hit by a car in the first arc) the first time i read warriors he was the most background character ever who i decided to fixate on for whatever reason. or perhaps lizardstripe mostly because i wonder why the prefix lizard was never used again

Here’s Whitethroat for starters!! He’s actually one of my favorite background ShadowClan characters.. despite being. Literally nobody lmao

Design notes:

Loosely based on a white-throated sparrow.

I don’t want to ever have solid colored cats just be… solid colored. So!! Whitethroat gets to be a very dark brown cat with darker paws, tail tip, ears and mask!! And little wing-like patches down his back. Uhm… this is just. Purely a stylistic choice ^^’

Blue eyes taken from the wiki.

Spiky, “feather”-like tufts at the base of his ears.

Very thick, fluffy fur at his tail and chest especially.

LGBT+ Headcanon: Mascu-demiromantic-Asexual, agender! He uses he/they pronouns, and had a case of “intense, young first love” for Littlecloud…

i renamed him ravenstrut because the generator sure likes to throw out the most common suffixes constantly (also it sounded better)

hes the epitome of "he a little confused, but he got the spirit" he's alot more charismatic and better at public speaking/speaking in general than garlicstar and i wouldnt be surprised if she asked him to ghost write her clan meetings occasionally they are besties for life and every night he asks the stars to keep garlic from dying and so far its worked great (her faith in starclan is pretty shaken but his as strong as ever) as always base by cryptidclaw

@cryptidclaw decided to do that clan generator thing and i got a small clan that made me think of nomadic wanderers in some kinda post apocalyptic setting trying to survive and i vibe with them so say hello to Garlicstar my beloved.

i know it says white cat but i personally struggle to make single-color designs look good and also i made her related to one of the queens who is a tortie so why not both of them be torties

she doesnt actually have 9 lives, the previous leader died in whatever catastrophe they escaped from and where they went to talk to starclan was either destroyed or blocked off. she tried just sleeping and hoping to find them in her dreams with no luck, however morale was already low enough and she didnt want them thinking starclan abandoned them so she lied and said it worked.

garlic has the personality of a meerkat but despite all the anxiety is doing her best and does a pretty good job of putting on a strong front
