Happy new year my friends and mutuals!🎇🎆

I'm sorry that I been inactive this last few months , it was never my intent. I just don't have the itch to play the sims currently and been playing other games. But the itch will be back , sooner or later.

I have been thinking about starting a new legacy challenge , maybe going back to my berry sweet roots and put Hopebury on hold for the time being, I haven't decided yet.

In the meanwhile , I hope you all have a wonderful end of the year and a great first day tomorrow!

Small life update

Hi guys , I will be going on a small hiatus for the time being , as I'm in the process of moving out and I don't have internet yet.

Hopefully the queue will be back before September. Still , I hope you guys liked the Florbottom fall update so far 😊

Shock, sadness, pain, anger, many emotions flashed in Hamon’s eyes as he asked if she was seriously letting his mother win. Ofelia told him yes , unless they could live with her parents or on their own. He couldn't do that - he was the eldest son , he needed to be there for his parents.

She had the same obligations as him then , as her parents had no sons to take care of them.

It is the end of their relationship.

Hamon was confused and asked what that meant, and she told him she no longer can bear being near his mother, that she was a horrible person and would make their married life miserable.

That she wishes to end their courtship.

When Hamon caught up to her, he apologizes for his mother’s behavior – promising that things will be better, that Nanss just needs to accept that they will marry one day, but it sounded like a mummer’s farce to Ofelia now.

She looked into Hamon’s eyes -braced herself- and told him that she couldn’t do this anymore.

Ofelia fled outside, tears in her eyes and renewed wisdom- that she can’t marry Hamon.

It’s not because she didn’t love him anymore, or that she doubts his love for her, but that she knew Nanss would make her life miserable. The Strongwood matriarch had made it clear as day that she did not approve of Ofelia, and has made it her life goal to discourage their courtship.

Hamon tries and tries again to make his mother stop, but Ofelia knew that she will only stop when she is dead in the ground or until Nanss got what she wanted- Ofelia gone from her precious son’s life and for him to marry someone else. Someone she can tolerate.

It broke her heart, but she rather it be broken and mended then turned into dust.

The Strongwood matriarch was viciously nasty that particular visit , it did not matter how many times Ofelia asked for a new start , nor how many Hamon told his mother to be respectful towards her, Nanss would not stop.

In the end it was too much for Ofelia...

Nanss hated Ofelia since the very beginning, more so after losing a physical fight.

Ever since then , Nanss has proclaimed Ofelia an enemy and made it her life goal of breaking their courtship.

And it might finally bare fruit...

They been courting since the summer season , and hopefully be married by winter's first snow , when Ofelia is off age to be married.

Hamon was quick-tempered and a bit brutish , yet there was a tenderness to him that was only reserved to her , his younger sister and animals. She loved those qualities in him the best.

When Ofelia is free from shores , she would go and visit Hamon Strongwood , her neighbor and suitor.

Primula and Gale have a interesting relationship- although Prim is know to be grumpy and mean-spirited , she is clearly fond of her little sister and dotes on her , although it's a bit patronizing.

Gale doesn't fuss about it , knowing that Prim would do anything and everything for her if she needed her.

Fall was very slow regarding customers. Herbs and mushrooms grow plenty , but little was sold...

Valeraine mental stability was always shifting - one minute she is able to do her chores and duties of a mother and wife - the next she yelling at the door for simply being a door.
