If you catch yourself castigating certain protesters as “violent,” you are helping the very institutions we want change from evade accountability. The people in charge want you to waste your time with ineffective protest strategies and methods because it incurs no cost to them to continue to abuse people. That’s why we have to make it as costly as possible for them to abuse us. That’s how we win.

I figured it would happen sooner or later, thanks for the heads up.

Reminder to people that follow me that the people who run shinigami eyes are anti-transmasculine, intersexist and exorsexist and the people of these groups get marked red for advocating for themselves as a silencing tactic. It is actively being used as a tool to sow mistrust towards what they perceive as the "wrong kind" of queer people.

I'll probably make a real post about it later giving sources as to why that is but if you look at their guidelines it's pretty apparent what their views are.
