Reblogging to my blog for this fantasy stuff, but, they're mostly using lionfish and stonefish as a base for the defense mechanisms there! That's why they're so spikey :)

Their "Father", Cyaneus the God of the Sea is getting a rer soon but for now I have this

He is large and has a different tail style, so he's not hard to tell apart from the regular sirens while he's in "earthly mode" haha

Oh yay!

Here’s my current notes on them & what info I’ve got. The only thing not listed is outside of their teeth, they also have plates behind them for crashing crab shells (and the ankles of unsuspecting swimmers). They definitely still need work but I like what I have so far :D

Though the primordials are not ‘related’ in the same sense that you or I are, Animus and Abyssus are often referred to as sibling gods due to their opposite natures.

After the fall and rest of The Original/The Creator these two were the first to form. Even before the concept of Life and Death themselves, there has always been Peace, and Chaos.

Before anything, allow me to introduce you to the gods by name.

The Creator -

The original deity, lies in a constant state of bleeding and recovery while surrounded by the Primordials.

The Primordials -

Animus (They/Them)

Domains: Bliss, Peace and Mindfulness.

Animal: Unicorn

Abyssus (He/Him)

Domains: Chaos, Torment, Blood

Animal: Cat

Comminus (They/He)

Domains: War, Combat, Strategy, and Competition

Animal: Bearded Vulture

Special Note: Created by Abyssus to cut down on all death by the earthen people being only senseless violence

Venatio (He/Him)

Domain: Hunting, Sports

Animal: Alligator

Diluculo (any/all)

Domain: Celestial Bodies, some Air Travel, Storms

Animal: none

Originally three separate gods over the Sky, Sun, and Moon, Diluculo absorbed his siblings' domains after consuming them.

Special Note: the first god to take a champion, starting the tradition for the rest.

Familiaris (She/Her)

Domain: Family and Child Rearing

Animal: Flemish Giant

Special Note: Thick MILF

Cyaneus (He/Him)

Domain: Bodies of water, Ocean Travel

Animal: Lionfish/Eels

Special Note: considered the father of all the sirens. Because of so many legends talking about the glowing eels on the ocean gods head, that led to normal eels with that mutation always being thrown back, fed and left unbothered. Which let those eels flourish. After several hundred years, all eels got bioluminescence and eating them is illegal/sacreligious

Solum (She/They)

Domains: Land, Farming, Flora/Fauna/Biota

Animal: no obvious animal, a mix

Advenio (He/Him)

Domains: Travel/Transport

Animal: Pegasus (Kingfisher + Horse)

Socius (they/them)

Domains: Love in other forms, often seen as a partner or sibling of Familiaris, but like the other gods, they are unrelated.

Animal: Dog

Umbral (it/they)

Domains: Death, Rot, Grief

Animal: Skeletal & rotting bone canine

Lux (it/they)

Domains: Life, Growth, Euphoria

Animal: Moss covered bone dragon

Minor Gods (Human Concepts)

Mercatura (He/Him for both)

Domains: Commerce / Black Market

Animal: none

Twins in the same body, head flipping around to switch over. Literally 'turning a blind eye' when the black market comes up.

Artium (They/He)

Domains: Theater and Music, eventually called on as a god of Deception

Animal: Hognose Snake

Sollemntias (Any/All)

Domains: Revelry, Celebration, Feasts

Animal: Human-ish, almost Celestial like Diluculo
