There is literally either a button clasp or a switch/belted system that officers are taught to unlatch/pop open if ever they need to use their firearms. For safety it's locked from public/kids/unwell individuals but they are taught the correct and efficient way to hold their hands/fingers even without LOOKING to unclasp the weapon for usage. That being said-

THEIR GUNS WERE OPEN TO PUBLIC. There is ZERO way they do not feel or hear a buttons pop or FEEL it being taken from you.

Which is objectively bad bc if we are for once going to pretend some cops are still people with dignity and humanity; they could have even gotten THEMSELVES shot or worse.

Unprofessional- they shouldn't HAVE a firearm if they can't even keep it from the wrong hands.
