@dustcrumbs I heard that the orginal creator of the game had like game up ownership to someone else who sold forsaken to a bigger company.. and mention, that could end really badly

I'm not sure if it's TRUE but it's what i've heard... i honnestly makes me really upset because i only got 4 hours of play time and only had one chance to play as Elliot BEFORE he got nerfed.. but i suppose it helps me adjust? still upset about it because there are some players who were EXTREMELY good at the game with Elliot, so that probably fucked up their whole gameplay..

it's crazy how much they are changing the game already... i mean... was their abilites that bad? were people complaining THAT much? or did they just do it because they can? if i'm honest... no one is going to play a game that legit used to be amazing but now is actual trash... I'm not saying forsaken is trash, it's a good game, but overall there really was no need to nerf their abilites.. it seemed pointless and probably a waste of time and money?

Elliot was perfectly fine how he was before the nerf

He was well balanced, and his gameplay fit his style

There was absolutely no need to nerf him..

I've seen people say that it's good that they nerfed him. It now makes people strategize with Elliot's abilities

Which would be fine if he was overpowered and could win every round with no skill. Issue with that, HE WASNT. His low health and only having one ability to help him escape danger was what kept him balanced. But also easily killable

Especially since many Elliots are targeted at the start of the round.

Also, they made Elliot free for beginners. Why would anyone need to strategize with this underpaid employee if its expected that new players are going to try him out..💔

His rush hour was also unnecessary to nerf, ANY killer could easily close in the distance that was lost before. Why make it so he's punished for using his ability, that's most likely used as a last resort to escape and lose a killer 😟

Also, most of the situations that Elliot is in with someone who needs a heal. That person needs an instant heal. NOW. Either to tank damage for a few more seconds or because they're literally on the brink of death, and one hit is enough to knock them down and the Killers charging at them with a fist of malice 👅

"Well, if your teammate can't resist getting hit for 5 seconds, then they're bad!!" That doesn't change the fact they need a heal RIGHT NOW. And not during those 5 seconds to be fully healed. Also, you're playing in a public lobby with people who sometimes aren't amazing at the game. Would you rather they add time to the round, which could be HORRIBLE if the killer is amazing at the game.. Or just give them a heal that allows them to tank damage for a bit longer before a sentinel comes in to save the day? THINNNNK

Look, I would even be fine with the nerf as long as the healing didn't stop when they got hit. LIKE UGHHH.. That kind of ruins his character a bit

Elliot is used for emergency heal most of the time. It's not good that one hit will cancel the heal. Especially since most of their gameplay consists of "SOMEONES ABOUT TO DIE RIGHT NOW." Lol

Anyone who thought this nerf was needed are people who probably lost a round to him and are petty about it

Elliot is still a good character, because he's our only healer that doesn't have you be vulnerable to attack just to heal.. (Like builderman and his dispensers or medkits)

He's just less life-saving and more of a burden on the team rather than a savior

Also John Doe's nerf was also unnecessary
