flywhisker was so real telling flipclaw to gtfo. i hate how it's normal for toms in warriors to flirt by following a she-cat around going "our kits would look beautiful 🥺🥺🥺 i'd protect you if you were expecting my kits 🥺🥺" it's gross as fuck! like why are you talking about children on the first date. to be fair this absolutely does happen irl so it's not at all unrealistic but i'm glad the book didn't make flywhisker out to be the bad guy for rejecting flipclaw. greystripe was way more sympathetic to him than he should've been imo, comparing getting rejected by a cat who barely likes you as a friend to the heartbreak of his wife dying (????) but at least he doesn't blame flywhisker

It's pretty obvious that Frecklewish being in The Dark Forest is a miswritten in the wiki because there are other cats that mistreated kits. Rainflower neglecting one of her kits over disfigurement, and Russetfur and two other ShadowClan warriors (Forgot their names), sat back and watched Berrykit struggle in a fox trap just because he wasn't clan-born. Lizardstripe literally neglected Brokenkit just because she was forced to take care of him. So, why send Frecklewish to The Dark Forest when literally Rainflower and Russetfur also mistreated kits for dumb reasons. I mean, I guess because she sat back and watched Mapleshade's kits drown but still it doesn't make sense at all to me. It's obviously miswritten.

I miss some of the clan lore that was established in the first series that's just forgotten later. Nothing world changing, but little details like how all the apprentices took a trip to the moonstone did a really good job world building that's been left in the dust.

I have a really hard time going away from canon. Call me not fun or the fun police but I am just simply bothered and can't enjoy designs that don't match canon or aus. I can hardly like fanon ships as well. I personally enjoy 99% of the canon material that we have and I don't have the need to stray away from it. Yes, I might be stuck up but I also can't force myself to magically like the fanon tweaks/changes. (Making character designs the opposite of canon, making characters randomly torties, crazy names, making the cats swear, making them tame dogs and use them, change cats' personalities for the sake of a ship/change the plot, etc)

You can like that stuff, I don't care, I won't interact with it, happy that you can, but I still just simply can't like it.
