A short and kinda cheesy comic I made based on a headcanon where Joe from Man of Medan is Jason's grandfather (you can see the full convo about it here).

Full explanation about the headcanon below:

But basically, this comic takes place in an AU where Joe survived the events of MoM, but killed Charlie in a friendly-fire accident after experiencing hallucinations caused by the Manchurian Gold.

He returned to the US soon after and reunited with his partner (a woman with the surname Kolchek whom he hadn't yet married), and was shunned by most of his family due to the changes in his behavior that had been caused by Charlie's death.

For the next few decades, Joe was treated as an outsider, until his grandson Jason came along. Jason was the only one in the family to love him for who he was, and in return, Joe enjoyed having the little man around.

Because of their relationship, when Jason grew up and met Salim, Joe was the first one he told about his sexuality and his new boyfriend.

And Joe being the loving gramps that he is, accepted Salim into the family :)
