He pulled you aside when you were about to take a bullet in the shoulder.

Your cheeks were red between the wall and the pho.

He wanted to hear the answer, and he sincerely hoped for a "Yes".

"Oh, this is not the time for Phoenix."

"You're running away."

He took the gun in his hand and winked at you with a head shot.

"That was for you. I want to hear the answer that there are no more enemies left."

"Why do you think I like you?"

"I didn't say whatever."

He turned around and walked away.

"Phoenix, if the answer you want to hear is yes, the answer is yes."

He turned around with a smile.

"I knew I loved you too."

He smiled proudly and hugged you.
