Preposition phrase: 在 zài + a name of instition 

医院 yīyuàn: hospital 旅店 lǚdiàn: hotel 商店 shāngdiàn: shop 餐馆 cānguǎn: restaurant

Sentence Pattern

N + 在 + institution + 工作。

Exercises:

My mother works in a hospital.

My father also works in a hospital.

My brother does not work in a hospital.

My sister does not work in a hospital, either.

Examples

Wǒ ài wǒde gēge, yě ài wǒde jiějie. 我爱我的哥哥，也爱我的姐姐。 I love my elder brother, and also love my elder sister.

Yuēhàn ài Mǎlì, Mǎlì bú ài Yuēhàn. Mǎlì xǐhuān Yuēhàn 约翰爱玛丽，玛丽不爱约翰。玛丽喜欢约翰。 John loves Mary. Mary does not love John. Mary likes John.
