Jecko Profile

Origin: Created and given life by the angel Josephine to serve as her daughter Vivanelle’s guardian before she died, Jecko was left in hibernation within his doll form for 30 years, waiting for someone to find him. Eventually, he was found by a kindly old thrift shop owner, and put onto his store shelves, to then be bought by the Alexeev family, who had adopted Vivanelle after his creator’s death. When Vivanelle and her adopted sister Olivia unwittingly brought him to life, the entire family was suspicious of him, but overtime he grew on them and gained their trust. Now, he helps out with everything around the Alexeev household, whilst also protecting them from demons and the evil genie Gaomal!

Weight: 1.25 ounces ( which makes himself very easy to lift )

Age: 30 years

Powers and abilities: Shapeshifting, teleportation, possesses magical powers, durability, can reassemble himself if he looses a limb, possesses a sentient marotte ( he names him Smiler ) which he can channel his magic through, is extremely acrobatic, mimic other’s voices, can summon objects from Hammer Space, create portals, grant wishes, and can duplicate himself, can be brought to life by reciting the words “Maru, Maza, Milin, Molonu, Minkin”, doesn’t feel any other forms of pain ( except dismemberment )

Weakness: bright lights ( it blinds him for a short period of time ), fire, can’t swim, fear of enclosed spaces, doll form ( leaves him vulnerable to any outside threat ), can feel pain from dismemberment, his stubbornness can get him into trouble

Personalty: Jecko is often humorous, graceful, wisecracking, and never tires of his audience. He’s incredibly flamboyant and energetic, but hates repeating himself and tends to get annoyed when many questions are asked of him. Despite his outwardly fantastical and showman-like personality, the Clownai has a much gentler side to him as well, caring deeply for those in need, and finds great joy in entertaining people with his magic. But that doesn’t mean that just because he’s a clown, he’s a pushover, as he can be VERY assertive when it comes to people that talk smack behind his back. He’s also notorious for being extremely mischievous, and loves to play pranks on any unsuspecting person when the opportunity is open. But all and all, he’s a kind soul, and views Vivanelle as his best friend. He can also be shy around some people at times, but is often extroverted.

Species:  Clownai ( a kind of doll-like being, resembling a clown, or in Jecko’s case, a jester, which is the interspecies cousin of the Genie )

Likes: pulling pranks, being close to someone, jokes, comedy movies, Smiler ( his talking scepter ), Vivanelle ( whom she considers him her Duncle ), Quincy ( pun buddies ),  the carnival, circuses ( he finds them exhilarating  ), sweets ( mainly chocolate ), playing pranks, performing magic tricks.

Dislikes: being alone, dark magic, people who can’t take a joke, the fact that he can’t eat anything, sudden loud noises, Vivanelle or anyone he cares about getting hurt or worse, being disrespected or feeling under appreciated, people who don’t believe in magic, being walked out on, people who act like jerks to his owners, birds, having to go back into hibernation in his doll form, Gaomal ( he does NOT like him ), yodeling
