Rich Foster Terminal Passengers

There are a lot of bored rich kids stuck on Foster Terminal. I took another couple of them on trips to Jacques, this time managing to avoid being attacked (though having to evade interdiction once). Three big ones: easy money!

Passenger does a runner

I decided to go and visit a Megaship, so headed for Foster Terminal in Coeus. It is in the planet’s rings, so looks very pretty. Unfortunately it was in shadow; I should return here to see it in the light.

From there I took a passenger who was willing to pay over a million credits to visit a tourist beacon near Jacques. It was too good to be true, though: someone started shooting at me and the passenger ejected. I ran to the station and docked for repairs.

Passenger mission

After a short hunt for a passenger cabin (I found one at Jaques station, on the way to which I had to evade interdiction), I took some shady characters from ther to Whirling Station in Ogmar. They paid a quarter of a million Credits, presumably because they were worried about people attacking them, but nothing happened, so easy money.

Not sure I like the ambience of this place. Too much red lighting.

Mining and Trading around Colonia

I have been taking it a little bit easy and hanging out with the locals. After all, I don’t really need the money. But I have spent some time trying my hand at mining and trading. So far I haven’t made much money that way, though it is fun. Even the new trading interface upgrade on my ship is okay for finding things to take if I happen to be going somewhere anyway, but not so good at finding the best place to sell a commodity I already have and could take anywhere.

Anyway, I made a few thousand selling some mined gold at Aragon in Carcosa, and some performance enhancers and structural regulators at the Kremmen’s Respite colony down on Kioti 368 8a.

But there is a lot more money in passenger runs, even out here, so I might try that next.

Exploring the neighbourhood

I decided to explore my new neighbourhood. I traveled from Colonia to TolaGarf’s Junkyard in the Kojeara system to see what an asteroid station looks like. The interior engineering is impressive.

Then I visited Robardin Rock to see what merchandise was on offer from a high tech system. This is also an asteroid base and I wonder how it does not melt from the proximity of that star.

I bought some mining gear and went to a pristine metallic asteroid belt in the Randgnid system. There is gold and platimum! But after some considerable work I think I only have a few tens of thousands of credits worth of metal. I may need to up my game with better equipment.

Made Colonia by Christmas

I arrived! In Colonia! Civilisation at last! Of a sort, at least. I was interdicted by some pirate only a few hundred kms away from Jaques Station. I escaped easily, though. And here I am. I wonder what adventures await in this new bubble.

Arrival at Polo Harbour

I made it to Polo in  Boewnst KS-S c20-959. Mostly uneventful apart from a couple of close scrapes with stars while scooping. Don’t fly tired, cmdrs!

Arrival at Marlin’s Reach

19th November 3303

It’s funny how routine jumping 30 light years across the galaxy can become, when you do it enough. So much so that I was playing with some ship settings when I nearly crashed into a star. I took some heat damage; that woke me up. Then I got low on fuel near a brown dwarf so I took a detour to a nearby M class. And on arrival in the Gandharvi system someone attempted to interdict me. This leg of the trip was definitely more eventful than I would like...

Still, the view is nice.

Arrived at Gagarin

I arrived at Gagarin Gate without event. It’s pretty here in the nebula. Exchanged greetings with Cmdr Sproganoff who is on the way to the bubble. Next stop will be  Marlin's Reach in the Gandharvi system, only 66 jumps away.

Onwards towards Sacaqawea

At Eudaemon Anchorage I ditched my SRV to save some mass and extend my jump range a little. I also had some rest and relaxation, though the facilities are limited out here. I am heading now towards  Sacaqawea Space Port in  Skaudai CH-B d14-34. So far I have made it to Flyiedge IQ-B c2-20. Only 96 jumps to go...

To Eudaemon Anchorage in Rohini

My next stop on the Colonia Connection Highway was the Rohini system. Mostly an uneventful trip, though I did manage to be the first person ever to scan several stars on this leg:

Eagle’s Landing

A mostly uneventful trip to Eagle’s Landing. I did see a rather cool system with binary stars very  close together.
