Hello I love your posts and I admie you but I noticed that the links for pdf of korean books are not available now may you please put them again ? it's very important to me 🙏
Hi,
I don’t think I’ve ever posted textbook pdfs? But I might have reblogged someone else’s post a while ago. Since it’s not my post I don’t have the pdf files.
But ~ there are free legal online textbooks out there:
My Korean 1 & 2 - Beginner level - Downloadable pdfs and accompanying audio files.
Intermediate College Korean - Online textbook of 27 intermediate lessons including audio.
Songang Korean Program - Online textbooks ranging from complete beginner to higher intermediate. It is a bit dated and you will need to enable Flash. I wouldn’t recommend the introductory lesson but the other lessons don’t look too bad.
King Sejong Institute - Has both traditional textbooks and conversation focused lessons that you can view online. The lessons range from beginner up to higher intermediate. You will need to sign-up to view the material but there is no fee involved.
Quick Korean - Lecture style lesson made by Korea University. The lessons range from complete beginner to high intermediate. If you signup you can keep track of your progress and take level tests or you can just watch the lessons on Youtube.

4/8/2022
helloo :) I'm back from my 3 week backpacking trip (stay tuned for an abundance of images of old buildings haha) and finally got back into somewhat of a routine. A few days ago i started a reading journal and picked up a few new books which has been really nice. Besides reading and journaling I've been preparing for my internship in Iceland which is approaching a lot faster than I'd imagined and I'm still at the point where I'm too nervous to be excited haha :D
but anyways I hope you're all doing well 🤍

new hobbies to try out during covid ✨
During COVID, I definitely feel a lot of boredom and also feel like I’m wasting a lot of time. Therefore, here are some suggestions of hobbies you can try out! You might also have your own interest, which can be history or science, so I would 100% support you to do research and read about them!
Some more hobbies to try out:
🚴🏽♂️Stay active: swimming, running, working out, yoga, hiking, biking, skateboard 🎨Creativity: film-making, painting, origami, drawing, doodling, comic strip creating, photoshop, digital art, DIY, music making, song-writing, knitting, playing new instruments, acting, calligraphy, reusing and recycling materials, redesigning and decluttering your interior 🎧Communication: blogging, writing, podcasting 🧘🏻♀️Mental health: journaling, meditation 🧠Mind: chess, coding, puzzling, researching, online volunteering, enrolling in an online class, selling your old stuff online, learning a new language, listening to audiobook and podcast
QOTD: What hobbies do you have?

100 DAYS OF PRODUCTIVITY-DAY 39

Did some collages today. These were my favourite pages.
Early update because I plan to play the piano a little, revise latin and then sleep.I'm gonna activate forest when I finish this post.
I finished cleaning my room!It felt so relieving to finally be able to tell where I put things.I think i used at least 10 trash bags lol.I also found some stuff I could give away.
Today was nice.I was actually interested in the subjects I had at school and also had a free hour so I did latin.
I went to the dentist at around 2.30 pm and spent the whole afternoon/evening cleaning.
I finished dinner a while ago and spent my time doing collages. They're so relaxing.
What I achieved:Cleaned my room, did latin, read pride and prejudice for a while, journaled ig?
Time spent playing piano:None, but I'll try to play at leas 45 mins now.
Screentime:3 hours :)
What I did for myself:Collages lol.
Random song: If I needed someone by the Beatles.Proof that George Harrison got wayyyyy too ignored.

I'm a pretty organized & productive student and I often get good grades but in these days I can't seem to focus on my work 😿😿😿 do you have any advice? 💐
i do, dear, especially since i struggle with this too! let’s be real, everyone does, to some extent, but some people are really disciplined (not my case) and use sheer willpower to overcome it, and others have studied themselves and their natural work patterns so they can optimise their study sessions:
figure out your most productive time of the day. if it’s mornings, resting in the afternoon and going to bed early to wake up early as well and work might pay off! if it’s in the afternoon, don’t procrastinate once you get home from classes, just grab a snack, get comfy and get started!
related to the above, don’t study while hungry, thirsty, or in uncomfy clothes. seriously, if you’re having trouble focusing this will only make it worse. before you start make sure you’re physically comfortable so your brain can forget about those distractions and think only of your work.
leave your phone as far away from you as possible (in another room ideally)
studying in silence may not be your thing, so go for movie soundtracks or any kind of music without words (or in a language you don’t understand)
work in pomodoro breaks if you can’t hold your focus for long; however, personally, i have days when my best sessions are uninterrupted 3h blocks of work, simply because after beating the initial barrier of procrastination my momentum keeps me going. again, you have to figure out what works for you.
finally, if you really can’t focus because you’re extremely exhausted/sick, it’s better to call it a day and give yourself some rest so you can start afresh with a clear mindset and enough energy to ensure your work is well done. don’t neglect your mental health or your body’s needs, a persistent inability to focus could be a sign of burnout.
