Killing had always been easy for Vera. Especially when she was getting paid for her kills. This time, she was assigned to a particular person. 'Gain their trust, and then kill them.' It was the same strategy each time. The girl was now outside of her targets home and she knocked on their door as gently as she could manage.

Vera grins before she moved to sit back on the couch while watching Victor

“I’m sorry- I’m sorry for falling apart like this!”

Vera looked up as best she could since she had curled herself up into a ball onto the floor of the manor. For someone who never showed emotions, it was rare for the girl to break down and that’s what worried everyone.

Vera sighed as she buried her head in her hands

“V? It’s okay…” a voice spoke up from behind the assassin which gained her attention as Vera looked up at the person

“Huh? Oh- it’s you- look, please don’t say anything about this to anyone- I’m not this weak, I swear! I just … I’m just having a hard time today…”

“…wait, that again? Fine … uhh … I can see the clock, you, a lamp, fluffy pillow and … and the ceiling. I can touch the ground, your hand, the wall and the knife on the ground. I can hear a bird, the TV and your voice. I can smell … I think honey? and also uh i can smell the fresh air from outside … and I can taste … air in my mouth now- hey HEY … don’t leave me though! I don’t wanna be alone! Not now!”

Vera grabbed Victor’s hand suddenly for comfort and her eyes darted around the room before she got enough strength to sit up and she immediately hugged Victor
