( to give HIM some benefit, though, she supposes he has a LITTLE bit of feline grace. not that she’d tell him — his HEAD would swell ! ) the squeak that leaves her mouth isn’t really dignified, but it only lasts a second.

◅ 📷 ▻    Where the other girl had appeared from, Juleka would never know. She hadn’t been expecting Marinette to show up like that. That was not to say, of course, that the girls were so far removed from one another that even a “hello” was out of place.

The pleading girl in front of her was rather a sight. But Juleka smiled in response. Especially hearing some of her other friends were going to be there. If nothing else, it would be far better than trying to study alone.

                   so, maybe begging hadn’t been NECESSARY, but marinette has a habit of being a little bit –––– dramatic, sometimes. and judging from the slight surprise on the other girl’s face, she might be a little sneaky, too ! regardless, she hadn’t been expecting a no, and thankfully wasn’t disappointed. fingers lace before her as she smiles, giddy. marinette really liked juleka — she was sweet, and nice, and didn’t deserve ANY of what chloé gave her. then again –––– no one deserved chloé’s mean comments. 

                  but anyway, juleka and rose kind of reminded marinette of herself and alya, and they were just…nice to be around ! becoming better friends would never hurt.    ❛  wonderful ! we’ll have a great time –––– uh, while also studying, definitely ! and no, no, nothing ! my parents are excited to try out some new recipes, so as long as you’re okay with being a taste tester, we can start heading there now !  ❜
