HIATUS

COCOON RP will be on an indefinite Hiatus! I'm sorry to tell, but unfortunately the reason to open this group was to interact with the members, and sadly as it is it really didn't happen. We are very sorry to take this decision, but why leading a group if the interactions don't happen? However, we all hope that, if interactions between group members happened will still remain, because it would be a little sad if this wouldn't be the case. However, thank you very much for being stuck with us! Maybe this group will come back, but for now we will stay unter a long slumer!

this is kind of a dumb question but i just wanted to check; for our prompt can we use a drabble that was prewritten as another character or does it have to be in character?

COCOON EVENT #1: Beach Party

It’s Summer, school’s out on the most areas of the world, and everything is on fire to spend their summer at the beautiful places of the world. How about a nice vacation at the beach? For one week you’ll be away from your current worries, and will spend a nice time at the beach. Tonight is a nice beach party, maybe you will meet old or new people; maybe you will find your summer love? It’s uncertain! But let’s hope that you will have a nice time at the beach, along with the sea, a very nice hotel close to the beach and the beach party!

Welcome my fellow COCOON-buddies, Mod01 here! Finally I got to the opportunity to get this event done! But you have to accept the following rules!

The event lasts one week, threads last one day. If you want to extend the time you can always hit an ask!

The event is ONLY for COCOON-members, same goes for the threads. You can either post an open with the tag #cocopen or you can plot with another COCOON-member.

Keep in mind that you tag your event-posts with #cocevent!

If you have any questions, just go ahead!

x Edited masterlist ( removed blogs who were inactive since a month w/o hiatus notice & added hiatus-stats ). x Mod02 ( also known as Tash ) left our Group because they wanted to work on their own group. COCOON will stay to fifth people & we don't look for mods at the moment. x Activity may be sporadic because it's Summer Break and the mods are busy with their own rp-blogs or are on Vacation. However, we try to get to some activity done like checking the apps & reservations.

are semi-au characters allowed? like, if you roleplay a character that follows the bad ending of the videogame the character comes from, is that allowed?

That's allowed, as long as you mention it in the application!

Panfandom means we accept anything! (As previously stated by Cho) It doesn't matter if your character is from a novel, game, anime... we're open for it all, as long as it's not a fandom listed on our blacklist. (Can be found under guidelines.)

mod01: i come with a little message to EVERY member of cocoon rp. if you deleted your blog, changed the url or go on hiatus, it would be nice if you send us an ask so that we are informed. i, as the admin, am a little sick when i see that people deleted their blog, go on hiatus without further notice or changed their url. i won't get mad at you if you didn't but it's better that we have to know first due to the affiliation.
