do you ever sabotage your own free time? like wtf is that about? i want to play this game or read or do something specific but instead i will just stare out the window or scroll mindlessly???
Like that’s an understatement but I like understating my feelings because it sometimes makes me hurt less.
But I lost my main tumblr of over a decade because. ????? No reason given. Just terminated. I’m trying to get in touch with staff but my hopes are dwindling after over a week and no response.
Anyway so hi here I am because Twitter is now X and I’m worried that’s just a not so subtle hint.
Twitter is bad but I'm realizing that if it dies then there will be zero mainstream social media platforms where NSFW content can be posted without restrictions (reddit doesn't really count, it's a combination forum host/link aggregator), and that really, really scares me with regards to where we are at as a society.
it’s so upsetting how I managed to build an audience on a platform I can no longer rely on, and I understand not putting all your eggs in one basket. But building a social media presence on any platform is hard.
I have a decent following on my twitch too, but twitter was just the easiest place for everyone to update in real time when I go live or commissions are open, now I’m having to start all over again.
If you like my work, or want to learn a thing or 2 about Live2D rigging or animation, please follow my twitch, it costs 0 dollars to reblog, share, rt, and helps me reach a wider audience so I can continue to do what i do

please support artists, you literally do not have to spend a penny to support us, just sharing our work with others gets more eyes and potentially more clients. I would love to just trade the reach I have from twitter over here but that’s unrealistic without the help of others. Thanks for anyone who watches my streams, commissions me, likes or comments. I hate having to ask anything of anyone but I really do need the help.
The only thing I need tumblr to do is to get like... cool with the idea you can hire people here to do commissions for you and to like.. consider monetary support for artists cuz one of the reasons and the biggest reason I moved to twitter in the first place is because people there buy my art. I make a living there doing art.
And the vibe here is **we don't do that here**
If you want artists to be here and do art you gotta be okay with the concept of artists trying to make money.
I hate capitalism as much as the next person but I'm also 30 years old living with my fucking parents because I can't pay for a 1 bedroom apartment. Artists are not 'big business'. We're not Disney.
We're just people trying to make a living or some money for groceries and shit.
