My MC is glad that, out of all the things that went Luceris' way, using them to lure out Catalina failed spectacularly for him. Gives a little hope to them that the world is not so much on Luceris' platter that he can't still have moments of failure.

His wife (and unborn child but MC doesn't know all that) died I don't think the world is on his side, anon. 😭 I get what you're saying but I feel like the world isn't on anyone's side in this little story, oops...

okay but also an mc who DOES notice the very slight changes in Vincent’s 😐 face and brings it up to Hunter or Helios. They think that MC has finally understood Vincent’s reluctant pining but no, they just say something dumb like “he must, like… UBER hate me! hate me more than other people! hes such a dick!”

He's just doing his job by staring at MC all the time 🥺 Let him be, MC!!

This bloodbath has gone on for far too long. At the start of this aggression, the school year had barely just started. The academic year ends in just a month. Everyone, from first graders to university seniors, have lost an entire year at least. I say at least considering even if there is a ceasefire today, Israel had destroyed literally all universities in Gaza and damaged over 400 schools. Lest we forget also Israel's deliberate targeting of university professors and academics.

You absolutely cannot mistake the intent behind all of this.

Okay but the thought of Vincent falling first is hilarious to me because I can imagine the misunderstandings between him and a oblivious MC:

Vincent: *stares longingly at MC*

This is so funny because I feel like his face never changes so I bet it's still like 😐 and the only person that realizes it at first would likely be just Helios or Hunter. 😭

I had a kind of dumb and funny thought occur to me. I just imagined a situation where an MC that really hates Vincent or has a crush on Hunter, tries to get Helios to trade guard for the month.

This is funny for reasons I can't say lmao, I bet none of them would mind a switch.

This year has been pretty busy for me and I'll be honest when I say it will definitely take a while to release chapter 4.

My timeline kind of depends on how the next two months go so I think next chapter will only happen like late july-early august BUT I don't want to make any promises since this chapter feels really huge to me right now and I unfortunately have a life that interferes with things. 🥲

Everyone knows about Alistair (the person, not the voice) because that's like common knowledge lol.

MC has talked about Alistair with Fadiya (pretty sure there's a scene like that in chapter 2 or a public short story I forgor) but I'd say not with the others except maybe Hunter but even that depends on your MC.

Every time yall talk about hunter my brain starts playing “He don’t love me”- by Winona Oak

The delusion’s creates this dramatic cinematic fashion longing and letting go cuz Hunter is a lot for my f!m MC that refuses to be a second option to f!m hunter and goes around longing for them and eventually falls for Soarine’s charms chaotic but tamed to some degree unless you pull the Uno reverse card you never let us guess what to expect. (Aside from pain)

LOL 😭 I'm sure Soarine would comfort a heartbroken MC so I support this storyline 👍
