I just noticed and it's breaking my heart so I'm going to point it out, while singing "What It Sounds Like" Mira and Zoey were fighting the other Saja Boys but Rumi was just walking towards Jinu and she was smiling at him. She wasn't going to fight him she was going to reach out to him again to try and save him.

And the lines she sings while looking straight at him as she's walking foreward through the battle are "Show me what's underneeth, I'll find your harmony. Fearless and unrefined, this is what it sounds like."

A neat subtle detail (well, not that subtle, it's still a kids' movie) about KPop Demon Hunters is how well the life experience of Mira and Zoey match Rumi's. Mira has the family that doesn't accept her being as she is, similar to Celine for Rumi. Zoey has the experience of being torn between two different worlds, two different heritages, and feeling insecure about that, just like Rumi. Right from the start the movie establishes that these two won't just accept Rumi because they're nice and they're her best friends; they're also uniquely positioned to help her deal with her trauma because they've been there before.
