"Friends? Friends to you but what does friends mean to him? Maybe I should have a little talk with my supposed friend.”

"Yes you are. Porter!" She gasped, "Elodie isn't like that, she's really nice to me. She doesn't make me feel like I'm some injured little bird that everyone has to tiptoe around. Why can't you just be happy for me?" She tried to bite back the tears that were beginning to pool but it was too hard when everything he was saying made her feel so awful. "Y-you have plenty of friends, why do you wanna hang around me anyway? I'm just a third former. I think I should go."

"I’m not being like anything. Of course she is, she’s an evil dictator Col." He huffed and nodded with a sarcastic grin. "Right, because I’m not enough of a friend. I get it, that’s cool." He shook his head, "I don’t want the position for fucks sake! Yeah well, are you really making the job much easier for him? "

"Good because I wouldn't know who you were without the continuous rainbow on top of your head. Um while I suppose... we're friends."

"I’m going to take crazy as a compliment."Keegan’s eyebrows raised in surprise. "Since when do you talk to Porter?"

"Don't be like that. Elodie's my new friend, I just want her opinion. I don't mean just being popular, I mean people like me -they want to talk to me. Forget it." Cola chewed on her lower lip and looked away, his words had stung. "I've never had a gay best friend, the position's yours if you want it. I didn't mean to do it, poor Keegan. He just wants me to be safe."

"So now you have to run everything by her? That sounds great. Maybe you should ask her for a bathroom pass too. What is the big thing about being popular? It’s not that fun if I’m being honest and it makes you do shit things." He sighed, "Different how? Is it cause I’m the equivalent to some gay best friend or something?" Port smiled a little. "It’s fun to piss him off though."

"No one knows about hair dye more than me. What color are you thinking little sis?"

"Maybe it will suit me? I don't know. I don't really want to be called a 'ranga' anymore."

"I’d say I am, yeah. I just don’t see why you’d need to dye your hair?"

"Because she invited me to be a Dark Daughter, she's helping me get popular and I wouldn't want to do anything to mess that up. Do you have any idea what it's like hanging around her. People know my name now, Port." She said, immediately getting defensive. "You aren't no body, but it's different." Cola smiled trying to lighten up the mood again. "I went as Ariel for Halloween once, sea shell bra and everything -Keegan was so mad."

"Why do you have to ask her?" He scoffed, "Are you saying I’m nobody then? I was going to say Ariel actually."

"I think it looks fine though?" He sighed and muttered. "Girls."

"Blonde it is... Oh wait do you think I should ask Elodie first?" Cola paused. "No one likes a girl with red hair. Alright then Porter, which cartoon character do I look like?"

"You’d look good blonde. Hey—I like your red hair though. Eh, you do a little."

"I'm not gonna bleach it or anything, I'm just sick of it being so red."

"Why would you murder your hair like that?"

"Either light brown or dark blonde, I have both -what do you think would look better? I just want to get rid of the red. I don't look like a cartoon character!"

"What color? If I get to make you look more like a cartoon character, obviously I want to."

"Close enough." She laughed, happy with the comparison even if it was a joke. "I haven't been avoiding you, I just haven't been bugging you as much as usual. Oh I haven't told you yet! I was invited to be a Dark Daughter! By Elodie herself!"

"Is it Nyx?" He chuckled recognizing the hands immeidately. Keegan turned around once he could see and rolled his eye playfully. "I was just wondering why my wonderful little sister has been avoiding me?"
