Whumpee who is punished whenever they show an emotion that whumper doesn't like.

Whumpee who slowly loses connection with all their own emotions and desires.

Whumpee who is so effectively emotionally destroyed by the time whumper hands them a gun that they cannot even think to turn it on themselves much less on whumper.

Belatedly realized I'd like to actually like to do figuary? whumpuary? i have no idea about the name. Draw ever day. Anywaaay, February is gonna be a month of art. In theory.

I think whump is so compelling not only for its catharsis, but for the way, at least for me, that you as the author/worldbuilder gain catharsis specifically by having control in doling out pain and comfort. Life doesn’t give you the luxury of choosing what happens to you or when, so it’s very empowering to be able to take back autonomy in that regard.

The whumpee was a stern and strict leader, leading their team with an iron fist and never once showing signs of stress or fear- which is why their team was so shocked to see the state the whumpee was in after they were rescued. Nobody knew what the whumper had done- specially since the whumpee refused to speak, but they had managed to completely break the person everyone knew they could rely on.

Content: PTSD/trauma, mentioned rape/non-con, non-con drugging, mentioned alcohol, mentioned pet regression, mentioned self harm, mentioned violence, conditioning, implied sadism, forced to hurt, forced to hurt.

Whumpees who cope with trauma by getting addicted to or continuing to explore the traumatic thing they experienced.

Getting addicted to drugs/alcohol after being forced to practically live on it for extended periods of time (for the sake of experiments, no fighting, etc.)

Self-harm addiction after being conditioned to appreciate whippings, beatings, etc.

Heavy pet regression after living as a pet for someone.

Purposely hurting others after living through the trauma of having to abuse a loved one.

Experiencing hypersexuality after getting raped.

Alternatively, willingly giving themselves up to be hurt and abused after having to abuse a loved one.

Imagine if the team prankster pulls a prank on Whumpee except - Whoops! Accidentally triggered Whumpee's trauma! (whether its an accident or not is up to you)

The whumpee had always been an idealistic person, believing that everyone could be a good person and that everyone could change, and their team wanted to protect that innocence. Sadly, the positive outlook they had was the very thing that caused them to fall into the hands of the whumper so easily.
