“It’s just a nose bleed, back the fuck off.” Ruby warned holding a hand to her nose to catch the blood as the person stepped forward. It wasn’t something that was unusual for the brunette, she’d suffered from them ever since her grandparents had ‘taught her a lesson’ when she was younger.

rosiertheserpent:
Evan shrugged at Ruby’s comment. “If you didn’t want any visitors, you should have used that lock on your door.” He said, looking briefly back towards the door before his gaze locked with hers again. His brows drew together as he took in her current state. “Anyone could have walked in.” Though Evan’s voice remained somewhat lighthearted, he was also somewhat concerned about the brunette. He gestured to himself. “Case and point.” He moved further into the room, even though it was possibly a bad move.
The brunette sniffed shrugging, “Touche.” She nodded as he pointed towards himself. “No one usually bothers me though if I’m honest. The guards are to scared to enter without knocking and well, you can probably imagine I’m a little short on friends.” She gave a humourless laugh. “What it is with you? You always turn up when you’re not wanted.” Her words were harsh but it was just her way of building up walls to protect herself from situations she was currently in.

rosiertheserpent:
Walking along the path through town, a cloudy haze quickly made its way through Evan’s head and he found himself growing increasingly dizzy. Forced to catch himself, a hand shooting out to meet the wall, he stopped in his tracks to collect himself for a moment. Though these moments were becoming increasingly longer each time. He leaned back against the wall, head pressing against the stonework as he closed his eyes and waited for the feeling to pass. A sigh passed through his lips and he pulled back the sleeves of his jacket, looking down at the protruding black veins that had been slowly making their way down his arm since the attack.
Ruby was in the middle of arguing with her guard when she first noticed the male. She wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing as he was a few feet away but he didn’t look great. The brunette was suddenly distracted from the argument, looking past the male in front of her and instead looking over his shoulder to watch what Evan was currently doing. Without saying another word she brushed passed her guard and walked over to the wizard leaning against the wall. “Someone doesn’t look too healthy.”

“Please, I’d like to see you try. I’m sure we’ve already established that she can easily put your in your place.” Harper scoffed as she called out to the male watching as he left the room. Her laughter could most likely be heard from the end of the corridor which just brought her more glee at the prospect. “Oh, you know the usual. Suffering boredom as I watch them mill about in a panic about what to do with us.
Ruby smirked at her friend as she shouted out at the male. “It’s so pathetic, like honestly we only ever take prisoners if we need something from them. If they have no use to you just kill them, but these morons decide to give us all our own hotel rooms - I mean it’s like a really dull holiday place.”

rosiertheserpent:
Given that they had previously agreed that help would be useful if they were to escape this awful town, Evan wasn’t worried about interrupting Ruby. Thus, he pushed her door open with ease. What he was greeted with, however, was a sight that he hadn’t witnessed in quite some time. The door closed behind him as he let go of the handle. Evan’s brows furrowed at the sight and he was frozen in place for a moment. “You shouldn’t let these assholes hear you cry.” He said, the words familiar and softer than they might have been in other meetings between them. “They’ll get a kick out of it.”
Ruby had been so occupied with her own sadness and her own thoughts that she didn’t even hear the male enter the room. It was only as he spoke that she realised she was no longer alone. She angrily wiped away her tears, sniffing as she looked up at him. As she listened to his words she tried to work out how they left her feeling. There was a strange feeling of nostalgia as she was sent back to the first time he ever caught her crying, it reminded her of the person she used to be, but it also made her mad - it reminded her that he knew more about her than she ever wanted anyone to know and that he’d seen a side of her that she wasn’t comfortable with anyone seeing. She didn’t bother trying to hides the tears, trying to deny that she was upset like she once did - instead she threw a glare at him. “I don’t remember saying you could come in.” Her voice was raspy from crying.

“I don’t know what your problem is, but I don’t want any part of it.”
“I think it’s a little too late for that.” She stated stepping forward almost cornering the male in.

“If I were to theoretically push someone off the roof of one buildings or leave them abandoned in the old shed in the park, who would be the best person to put the blame on?“ Theoretically of course.
“Why wouldn’t you want the credit for that?” Ruby questioned clearly confused by the idea.

livmontague:
Olivia slowly walked over to her friend and slid down against the wall so she was sitting next to the young witch. Hearing the sob escape her lips, Liv gently wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her into her side and gently stroked her hair in a soothing motion. “Who can’t? Isaac?” Olivia wasn’t stupid, she’d seen that the two of them had gotten closer, almost inseparable, only to suddenly stop their time together. It didn’t take much for her to put two and two together. “Shh. It’s going to be okay, I promise.” She soothed.
Ruby welcomed the comfort from her friend as she lent her head against her while continuing to cry. She nodded her head, sniffing slightly as more tears fell from her face. “I-I just don’t understand, how can he not remember me?” She questioned with a shaky voice. The brunette shook her head, as a sob wracked her chest. “How can it be okay? I-I... I think I loved him Liv.” She admitted bringing a hand to her mouth to try and suppress another sob. “It hurts... Why does it hurt so much?” The witch asked not used to such feelings.

harperparkinson:
Harper let out a sigh and looked at the girl fondly. “Not quite what I meant my dear.” She looked at the other person and tutted as she shook her head disappointed. “Do try not to make a mess, you know how I hate it.”
“Woops?” She replied innocently with a small smirk lacing her lips. The brunette watched as the male gestured for another guard to come and watch them so he could leave for the hospital. She smirked as he went off in a huff muttering about how they’d have to face the consequences later. “How have you been? It feels like forever since we last spoke. Pity about the circumstances we’re meeting under though.”
