Demon Isac is my favourite to write in so many ways, and I genuinely think this is what his soul looks like when the mood hits hahah<3 Kitty being his usual mushy self, Liam the only sound of reason but loving wrangling the ferals, and Nathan😭 His lil face and those blue eyes, I can't😭😭❤️ Aghhhah this is just so cute, thank you so much!

Sooo, the new update got me thinking about Sammy (sorry if i just ramble a little):

I‘m really in two minds about Sammy. On the one hand I really like the bickering thing he and Isac got going on there and i can definitely see the potential of their friendship. On the other hand, I’m still really unsure if I even like Sammy?? It still irks me that he never really got any “real” backlash/punishment for what he did to Nathan with the flat etc.? I get that he regrets it and he had personal issues going on and stuff but i feel like he deserves someone actually calling him out for what he did? And I think it is really not Nathan’s style to do that and be so direct haha (as can be seen in CYE) but I am just wondering if the pack even knows in detail what actually happened and how dangerous the situation was with Nathan basically being thrown out onto the street? Did Nathan ever tell them the specifics? Because I would think Isac would definitely call Sammy out and tell him how shitty he was being while being all protective over Nat?

Idk maybe I’m being too harsh on Samuel lol but yeah just wanted to get it out of my head and see what your thoughts are about this <3

Yess love these observations and this topic! There’s so much more to Everything with Sammy, which is why introduced his POV to begin with. He’s very complex and grey, yet still so important to Nat and his life. 

And oh he definitely got called out😭 as much as he could be called out with what Nat ended up sharing with the pack. Nat's loyal to the boot, even with Sammy (or maybe especially with Sammy?? considering he remains loyal still after everything) so he didn’t tell all the details as he felt like it was Sammy’s private stuff. (Sammy hasn't told Nathan everything either, like the detail about his friends that slipped to Izzy👀)

There’s a big gap between CYE and this part, which explains the clearer tone shift from enemies to frenemies. This newest part is the latest point the timeline has ever been, so there’s been a lot of time for everyone to figure each other out. CYE Isac would’ve probably wanted to break his new skateboard over Sammy’s head, so… yeah, they’ve had some time and exposure therapy to get to where they are in this latest work lol

Nathan still has a hard time fully trusting Sammy, consciously or not, but as seen in the latest, Sammy knows this too and that’s why he’s asking Izzy for updates when Nat’s not told him directly. He cares, and asking Izzy is his way of saying, “Hey I think somethings going on with Nate. I don’t know what and it's fine if he doesn't want to tell me, but I want you to know in case he’s not told you either.” He’s not babying Nathan with this, everyone’s just… aware of how poorly Nat has been mentally in the past and they worry about him when he starts to seem stressed or low. It’s not all smooth sailing, but they’re trying.

Litzy were all wary of Sammy in the beginning really, they had a horrible first impression based on what Nathan had said, and then there was the sudden turnaround and Sammy was right back in Nathan's life. They didn't really like it and were really suspicious of Sammy, but because Nathan wanted to make it work, they all (Sammy included) wanted to make it work. Despite everything, they’re all united by their strong relationship with Nathan.

Somehow?? it was Liam who ended up having The Main Discussion with Sammy after then events of CYE, when it became clear that Sammy would be staying in Nathan’s life. Unexpected person maybe (considering how much Kit and Isac would’ve had to say, and how Nathan probably didn't want any of them to say anything...) but the blondie bear had already been poked awake by the things he learned😭

I don’t /really/ like Sammy myself. I definitely don’t like his past choices and he definitely still needs to work on himself and the way he sometimes still treats others. His superiority complex got knocked down a lot with what happened, but I think he still needs to simmer down sometimes. It'd also be 'better' if he worked on that just because he wants to be better, not because a shitty thing happened to him and it bruised his ego... 

I don't think you're being too harsh. I honestly think that Nathan had the grounds to never want to be in contact with Sammy ever again, but Nat is more forgiving and probably less of a grudge-holder than me personally so🥲 I do think their relationship ends up being more beneficial for both of them than them cutting contact would be.

Sammy's always been really important and a big support to Nathan in so many ways, and mayhaps Nathan might find that he has been and will be that to Sammy too, more than Nathan had ever thought he was.

I don't know why but I really just love that Sammy is almost always called Sammy in Nathan’s POV but Samuel in Samuel’s own<3

You're definitely not uncultured if you haven't been able to figure out specifics from my series, because it's unspecific on purpose!

I have a couple of posts/ask responses about this somewhere in the depths of the blog (I'll reblog something if I manage to find them), but basically, when it comes to their exact locations/accents etc, I've left it purposefully vague just so you can place them wherever comes the most naturally to you. Yes it's vaguely somewhere in the UK, and I have taken some inspiration from real places I know or have visited etc, but in general I like to keep things a bit vague.

I don't know if this is more annoying/bothersome, or just whatever to you readers🙈 but it's just how I ended setting the universe up. I mean, I don't even have surnames for any of the characters (except the ones whose only known name is their surname, like some of Liam's team mates lol). I'm still undecided if I want to come up with surnames for them. Names just hold so much... identity?? that changing or adding to theirs makes me feel weird😭

Like... Liam Thomas??? Kit Acosta??? Isac Taylor?? Nathan Smith?? Who are they?? (probably real people named like this, I didn't check sorry lmao)

Anyway! I always love hearing where people imagine the series taking place, or the accents, it's just so fun for me hehe!<3

Like all the other specifics for the stories, their ages / locations / accents etc. are a bit vague on purpose. I like to leave the room for everyone’s own imagination based on what they’re familiar with. It makes things a bit fuzzy for the timeline sometimes, but I just prefer having the blurred reality instead of basing it on real places and tracking a firm timeline.

But generally, I eyeball the gap between CYE and LMT to be maybe a couple of years.

The later on in the timeline we get with the newer published parts, I’ve been thinking that Kizzy, as the oldest of the four, are now getting closer to the mid-twenties mark and maybe over. 

The age order is: Isac as the oldest (by two critical weeks🤺), then Kit, Liam’s a year younger, and then Nathan. -> Nat’s age difference to the others & the gap between the stories could technically vary +/- an extra year or so, depending on whatever length of uni you’d want to imagine.

So basically, the canon is vague and they are all twenty-ish something in CYE and LMT xx

Hi i have a question! how do they all mate as a pack? usually in a/b/o they mate by biting scent glands? but how does that work with four of them?

Good one! Let's see if I can explain this in a way that makes sense lol

In this 'world', they don't do it by biting/breaking skin, or anything like that (I mean they might still bite but it's just for funsies and not with the intention to mark and break skin).

It's more of an emotional->hormonal->physical reaction. As in, it first starts on an emotional and feelings level (with or without an imprint; which is basically just about biological compatibility upon meeting someone new). The emotional side, with time and with familiarity/scenting/intent, affects the body's hormones, making them attuned to their partner(s). It's a slow process. The mating bond isn't necessarily permanent, and it's seen as something to 'nurture' and reenforce. It's still a choice, even with the hormones affecting the body and the instinctual side.

A mated pack/pair bond only starts forming if their instinctual (a/b/o) sides accept each other on an instinctual level. Basically, there's an emotional factor, and then a more instinctual/hormone driven factor, but in the end it's up to the person(s) to decide if they wish to form or keep a bond.

This does make sense in my head, but I feel like I explained it very confusingly... Let me know lmfao xx

Hii! I hope you’re doing well. I hope you’re still open to prompts or suggestions because I’ve been thinking about something while rereading Close your eyes (more specifically chapter 23).

I was wondering if you would ever consider writing the fight you mentioned in this chapter. The one where Izzy tried to break up with Kit/Liam because of their different opinions/plans for the future with or without children? Maybe I’m just craving a little angst with a happy ending and hurt/comfort content but I’ve been wondering what a “real” fight would look like within their constellation because normally they’re all so lovey-dovey with each other (not that I complain lol) and I would love to see a more fleshed out scene of that fight and its aftermath. I think it’s a very interesting topic that isn’t really talked about enough (especially in a/b/o) and a chapter that dives deeper into Isac’s thoughts on the topic but also Liam’s reaction to it all would be nice to read!

Anyway, thank you so much for writing this story! I come back to reread it a lot and it always makes me happy to dive back into this little universe you created so thank you!!

This one would definitely be really fascinating to get into, but it's also a very heavy and emotional scenario, and would probably require some more research for me to get it right. It's The Sore-Spot for Isac and it'd give an interesting look to his pain and insecurity under all his usual confidence. However, it's also The Sore-Spot for Isac (it touches on his phobic-level fears, sense of feeling inherently inadequate/not enough and his fear of abandonment over it) and I already know I'd feel like I was torturing him writing about it :')

They'd also be a lot younger here and their relationship would be more fresh. It would be when Litzy were more young and stupid and more reactive, before they learned to communicate better (spoiler: this is a big part of why this conflict went as badly as it did...)

But yeah... I will definitely think about this and consider mapping this out into a draft, as there's so much emotion and development possible here, and just general foundation-building toward the events that happen in CYE (I think it would give some more insight to why Isac reacted the way he did when he finally talked to Nathan about this, since that wasn't through Isac's POV.)

It can be a very sensitive topic I feel, but I always try to approach things with empathy, honesty, and kindness for all viewpoints, so I try not to limit my writing just because something could be sensitive. Maybe more of Isac's POV on this could be beneficial in highlighting this generally minority-experience, since I don't think it's seen a lot in any kind of media tbh.

I don't usually post prompts on the blog to avoid spoiling my possible WIPs more than I already do, but I just wanted to ask if this would be a topic/theme of interest for more of you? xx
