Being in a school environment was very different , nothing like when he was homeschooled , the hardest part was interacting with the other students , he hadn’t had much experience in the past. 

The boy’s bright appearance caught his attention among the dull environment of the classroom ,  ❝ I’m Shoto Todoroki , I was directed by a teacher that one of you were to show me around . ❞  

“  can  i  help  you  ?  teach  is  gone  right  now  –  since  ya’  know  …  it’s  after  school.  ”  the  only  reason  he  was  there  was  because  of  detention  ,  his  teacher  claiming  that  he  needed  to  be  more  respectful  in  class.  part  of  the  punishment  was  helping  some  first  year  ,  maybe  that’s  why  this  kid  was  here  ?

He wont lie , the thought of being alone with Katsuki wasn’t exactly . . . ideal . But he had to real reason to refuse said offer , plus perhaps he could use this time to calm the waters between them . 

Todoroki’s facial expression was neutral as ever, even with his interest peaked not much of his expression would indicate that . He nods as he verbalizes  , ❝ Yeah . What time do we leave ? ❞
