my inquisitor shiala of clan lavellan used to have dirthamen's vallaslin but then i decided that mythal's vallaslin fits her better as a character. also then meeting mythal is slightly more dramatic. i chose the one that is on the forehead, lips, and under the eyes

of all the dragon age games, nothing will ever replace the safe and comforting feeling of turning on origins and being in your campsite with all your companions, complete with the sound of ur dog barking and the crackling of the fire. nothing can top that imo

Just a thought:

Do you think that the Grey Warden order as a whole might harbor some resentment and bitterness toward a Hero of Ferelden who survived killing the archdemon? Especially considering the Warden doesn’t tell the rest of the order how they managed to live through it?

Part of the Grey Warden motto is ���in death, sacrifice” and yet here is this new recruit to the order almost making a mockery of it by cheating death. Where is their great sacrifice?

And if the Warden ends up being Queen or Prince Consort of Ferelden? Well I feel like that just amplifies that potential for bitterness because to anyone who doesn’t know Commander Cousland it looks like they’ve sacrificed nothing and gained everything.

You ever get hella sad when you think about the fact that Vivienne—a woman who critiques your fashion and compliments your interior design choices and accepts nothing less than absolute aesthetic perfection—stands in a gorgeous Orlesian chateau, surrounded by marble and gold, and says “there’s nothing here, now,” once the life fades out of the man that she loves? She may have built emotional walls out of gold and silver, but she built her treasure out of people. Her methods are misguided, but she spends the entire game trying to protect and care for people. She’s got so many layers.
