“   you   don’t   have   to   tell   me   you   love   me   out   loud   .   i   can   feel   it   when   you’re   fucking   me   …   come   here   .   ”

          sitting  back  in  his  chair,  bash  licked  his  lips  trying  to  hide  the  smirk  that  was  oh - so - evident  on  his  face.  ‘love’  wasn’t  exactly  in  his  personal  dictionary,  but  he  did  like  to  entertain  the  thought  --  “ oh,  but  i  do  love  you,  farrah ”  he  started,  in  a  matter - of - fact  tone.  leaning  forward  and  standing  up,  he  continued  as  he  made  his  way  over  to  her  --  “ i  love  ...  your  smile  ...  your  eyes ... ”  once  he  had  made  his  way  over  to  her,  he  paused;  leaned  down.  “ your  lips  ... ”  and  with  that,  bash  tangled  his  hand  in  her  hair  and  brought  her  lips  to  his  in  a  deep  kiss.

          my nephew broke the screen on my laptop :) luckily hdmi cords are my friend. HOWEVER, im using a new screen and it’s a little off coloring wise compared to it! if i EVER make gifs/or anything with a weird coloring for a poc, PLEASEEEEEE let me know! i want to do everyone justice in their skin tone!!! <3

“   what   am   i   supposed   to   do   when   the   best   part   of   me   was   always   you   ?   and   what   am   i   supposed   to   say   when   i’m   all   choked   up   and   you’re   okay   ?   ”

          furrowing  her  brows,  lex  looked  at  him  for  a  moment  in  utter  shock.  “ are  you  serious,  right  now?  --  you’re  drunk,  hugo  ... ”  she  sounded  dismissive.  at  this  point,  she  had  to  be.  she  took  a  moment  to  look  away  from  him  trying  to  gather  her  thoughts “ if  you  think  i’m  okay,  you  really  don’t  know  me  at  all ”  she  continued,  looking  right  back  up  at  him.

“   been   about   three   years   since   i   dated   you   ───   why   you   still   talking   bout’   me   like   we   together   ?   i   moved   on   for   the   better   ,   you   moved   onto   whoever   .   ”

          “ maybe  i  just  ...  never  got  over  you  like  i  intended  to. ”  sam  couldn’t  help  but  to  look  away  as  he  spoke.  he  had  practiced  telling  nyomi  this  for  so  long  that  it  happening  for  real  made  his  stomach  ache.  looking  into  her  eyes  was  the  last  thing  he  wanted  to  do.  it  made  it  too  real.

“  do you listen to anything new or?  like  …  can you name any new bands from the past year or two?  ”  he inquires,  brows furrowed.  “  and yeah,  you are kinda weird but you’re also kinda cute so  …  i guess you can get away with a lot.  ”  he tilts his head at her suggestion,  confusion settling over his features.  “  you wanna come to rehearsal with me?  ”  it wouldn’t be the first time he brings a girl with him to practice.  he does it all the time,  to the point where his bandmates are shocked if he doesn’t have some arm candy attending with him.  still though,  it’s a bit unusual for him to bring someone who isn’t a fan.  groupies are kind of his thing,  gaining another one does sound intriguing though.  “  i mean,  you can if you want to  …  but i just don’t get why you want to.  ”  he raises his hands in surrender,  “  i’m not like opposed to it or anything,  just  …  really confused.  you made it obvious that you don’t who i am  —  ”  he shrugs, disregarding it.  “  you know what?  whatever,  you can come.  i don’t mind showing off my skill.  ”

             lily  had  to  think  for  a  moment.  she  wasn’t  allowed  to  listen  to  any  GOOD  music  growing  up  and  what  she  did  listen  to  was  all  back  in  the  90s  and  early  2000s.  she  was  definitely  BEHIND  on  the  times.  “ i  mean,  i  know  the  mainstream  stuff,  i  guess.  i  just  prefer  the  older  stuff. ”  her  voice  was  quiet,  like maybe she  should  be  embarrassed  at  the  thought  --  even  though  it  sounds  more  than  dumb. “ why,  who  do  you  listen  to? ” she  asks,  trying  to  change  the  subject  away  from  herself.  she  had  tried  to  hide  the  goofy  smile  that  was  oh  so  evident  on  her  face.  ‘i  guess  you  can  get  away  with  a  lot’.  something  about  that  phrase  made  her  kinda  giddy.  “ yeah,  well,  i  don’t  have  anything  better  to  do  --  and  you  were  just  bragging  about  your  mad  guitar  skills.  i  guess  i  just  want  to  see  if  you  live  up  to  the  hype. ” she  shrugs.  “ oh  fun!  but  be  warned,  i’m  pretty  hard  to  impress ”  the  brunette  gave  another  smile,  and  completely  lied  through  her  teeth.

“  uh  —   huh.  ”  soft brown eyes are peering down at the supposed fan in front him.  he finds her to be a little weird,  but he’s fine with entertaining her because she’s cute.  kaan wouldn’t be kaan if he didn’t entertain every pretty girl he sees,  it’s just what he does.  so yeah,  he’s fine with it  …  until it’s made obvious that she doesn’t know who he is.  damn,  his ego is bruised.  he’d be lying if he said her not recognizing him wasn’t annoying.  it annoys him greatly,  actually.  her incorrect guesses only aggravate him further.  he’s never even tried acting,  and sports were always more of his brother’s forte.  “  no,  you’re not getting close.  ”  he says,  words accented by a scoff and a head shake.  “  i’m not an  —  i’m a musician,  alright?  i’m in a band  …  we’re kinda popular.  i play guitar,  i’m really fuckin’ good at it.  you live under a rock or somethin’?  ”  that has to be it,  right?  that’s the only valid explanation in his eyes.  “  just forget it.  actually,  is there something you want? ‘cause i’m late for practice right now and if i’m not there soon i’ll probably have to endure a lecture about not having consideration for my bandmates.  ”  truthfully,  he’s in no hurry.  doesn’t really believe he needs the practice,  but he sees it as an great opportunity to get out of an awkward situation.

          she  was  losing  him;  she  knew  it.  to  be  fair,  the  whole  ‘introduction’  thing  usually  went  better  than  this  for  her.  USUALLY  people  would  find  her  rambling  kind  of  charming,  in  a  way.  and  she  depended  on  that.  however,  she  also  liked  a  challenge.  something  about  him  made  her  kind  of  ...  stubborn,  in  a  way.  is  that  the  word?  he  was  cute,  but  also  arrogant  --  and  she  ALREADY  didn’t  want  him  to  have  his  way.  “ well,  hey,  i  love  music  --  the  ramones,  top  loader;  even  a  little  shania  twain  when  i’m  tipsy.  but  i  guess  not  being  from  around  here  kinda  makes  it  seem  like  i  do  live  under  a  rock,  huh?  i  mean,  c’mon  --  i  didn’t  even  know  people  still  used  payphones  ...  you  shouldn’t  be  surprised  that  i’m  kinda  weird. ”  her  plan?  win  him  over  by  any  means  necessary.  why?  well,  it’s  not  like  she  has  anything  else  to  do  --  and  plenty  of  time  to  do  it.  “ so,  sure -- ”  the  brunette  continued,  not  wanting  him  to  walk  away  JUST  yet  “ i  may  not  know  exactly  who  you  are,  but  if  you’re  so  confident  in  your  guitar  skills  --  maybe  i  can  tag  along  to  rehearsal?  maybe  you’ll  gain  another  fan  ... ”  lily  trailed  off,  wondering  if  any  of  this  was  working  at  all.

“  uhhhh  …  there’s one down the street  —  ”  he uses his thumb to point over his shoulder.  “  …  isn’t that the way you just came from?  how did you not see it?  ”  brows are furrowed as brown eyes narrow at the stranger standing before him.  “  how did you not know that payphones are still a thing?  they’re literally everwhere.  ”  confusion is evident on his features,  it takes him a second to come to the (very wrong) conclusion that she’s probably just a fan looking for an excuse to talk to him.  “  you know if want a picture or somethin’ you can just ask,  right?  ”  he cocks his head to the side,  “  no need for the theatrics,  i promise.  ”

          “ i  just  -- ”  wow  ...  great  start  --  shaking  her  head,  lily  tries  to  gather  herself.  SURE,  he  was  right  to  an  extent  --  but  she  didn’t  know  who  he  was,  just  that  he  was  kinda  cute  --  though,  she  wasn’t  sure  if  admitting  that  would  be  any  more  or  less  embarrassing.  and  just  the  fact  he  wasn’t  totally  clueless  to  her  intentions  irked  her  --  so  giving  him  the  satisfaction  of  being  even  just  a  little  right  wasn’t  something  she  was  willing  to  do.  why  was  she  like  this?  she  couldn’t  tell  you.  “ i  guess  in  the  city,  it  makes  sense. ”  she  quips,  shrugging;  accepting  defeat.  there’s  not  much  she  can  do  to  save  herself  at  this  point,  anyway.  “ but,  hey  --  you  caught  me.  all  i  wanted  was  a  picture  with  my  favorite  ...  actor.  wait,  no  --  you  look  more  like  you’d  play  a  sport  --  am  i  getting  close? ”

     ​muse: lily raphael, 23, ghost.      setting: i was thinking some place like chicago or a larger city in general! she knows she’s dead, so at this point this is all a ploy to start a conversation. ​

          “ hey!  so,  weird  question  --  maybe  ...  probably  --  but,  can  you  please  direct  me  to  the  nearest  payphone? ”  lily  asks  in  a  not - so - calm  tone.  shaking  her  head,  she  tried  to  explain  herself  further  --  “ i  don’t  even  know  if  they’re  a  thing  anymore  ...  i  just  lost  mine  and  my  dad  will  probably  kill  me  himself  if  i  don’t  check  in  now  that  i’m  --  here. ”  she  knew  she  was  making  little  to  no  sense  at  the  moment.  but,  none  of  that  mattered.  this  was  her  plan  and  her  only  plan.
