The biggest apologies to the old ladies holding signs along the road I saw a couple days ago.
I see old people holding signs along the road in my conservative town in my red state and I immediately think anti-abortion or other conservative stuff.
Turns out they were anti Trump!!! They were the coolest old ladies ever!!!!
#I wish I’d known sooner!!! I would’ve turned around and honked in solidarity!!!!#my town actually has a decent size of progressive people in there#and we’re very much growing!!!#I’m pretty proud of my hometown :]#sometimes LMAO#I’ve been meeting the coolest old people lately#being an adult is awesome!!!#they made school such a big deal#and yeah sure but when there’s not school there’s THE ENTIRE REST OF THE WORLD#you don’t even have to go that back#the town is so much more then the school#life is so much more then school and it can be hard and scary but really cool#it’ll take some going out of your way to find it but it’s neat
