8 Hacks to Survive Freshman Year
As freshman year starts, enjoy these hacks to help you ace your first few weeks!

1. Walk your class schedule before classes start
Before classes start, walk through campus and find all your classes and find ways to get there. That way in your first couple weeks, you don’t have to stress about finding your classes.
2. Keep yourself from getting locked out!
Clip your keys to a lanyard or id case holder. And use a nifty command hook next to your dorm room door.
You can also leave a sticky note reminder to make sure you don’t forget your essentials as you leave!
3. Screensaver your schedule
Screenshot your schedule and set it as your phone lock screen! That way you will always have your schedule handy and ready to go.
4. Build up your GPA in the beginning of the semester/quarter
Don’t slack off on the easier classes just because they’re a breeze. You’ll want those easy A’s to balance out the harder classes come junior and senior year. Even if it’s a GE, put in the effort to get those A’s. Trust me, you will thank yourself later!
5. Tape a dryer sheet over your fan to make your dorm smell better instantly!

6. Amplify your phone sound by putting it into a glass!
