Learning that a strong moral code is an autism trait made me understand a lot of things about myself. I've always felt very deeply that sticking to my principles is.... more important than anything. I don't think I could bear to do something that goes against my moral code; when I even think about it it's like I have this itch in the back of my skull. I can't do it. I hate it.

I used to pride myself on my morality I suppose... but as I got older, I realized that my principles were shaped by my surroundings. What I consider to be moral has changed a lot over the years. The itch hasn't gone away, but what triggers it has. As a teenager I might have balked at shoplifting, for instance. Nowadays, I probably wouldn't do it myself, but I'd die before acting like a cop about it. I didn't see shit.

Something I've noticed is... I basically can't bear to tell a lie anymore... *except* if it's to protect someone's privacy... The conditions that trigger the itch can be complicated. I can't always make sense of them, or how they got the way they are. Experiences stacked on experiences. Infinite little modifications. Spaghetti code.

It's all intuition.

you can be mad at someone for being a meanspirited asshole without claiming they're oppressing you. like it's enough to dislike someone for being mean and insulting you and going for cheap potshots etc. like i'm thinking about the people who call themselves stuff like "mean lesbians" or whatever and like. you can just dislike them for cursing you out and telling you they hope your bf kills himself. that's an interpersonally shitty thing to do, and it's completely fair to be pissed off about it and block them and complain to your friends. you don't have to make up an alternative universe where lesbians rule the world and are oppressing men and don't actually face homophobia and why anyone with a dyke url is secretly the devil. someone being mean is enough of a reason to dislike them.

Honestly I could see a fallout vault(s) where somebody at vault tec wanted to prove communism wouldn’t work by putting it and a capitalist vault in the same connected system with the same amount of resources only the overseer of the capitalist vault is tasked to sabotage the communist vault at every opportunity metatextually showing how communism historically only fails due to capitalist interference and how that even the “experiment” was rigged due to capitalisms hostility to cooperation. Only Todd Howard would never want to do actually anti capitalist messaging in a fallout game
