“That’s me. H-Hi Lonnie.. are you a friend of Evie’s?” The younger girl was nervous - not all of the people she had met so far had been really.... well.. they were nice but.. didn’t seem to like her much.

“It’s Dizzy, right? It’s so nice to meet you, I’m Lonnie.”

My muse just did something stupid that almost got them killed. Yell at them.

EVIE WAS USUALLY STONE COLD ON THE ISLE. Unless she needed to get her way, she would perform nice deeds but otherwise, she could be quite aggressive. DIZZY WAS THE ONLY ONE OUTSIDE OF HER SMALL GROUP OF FRIENDS WHO BROUGHT OUT HER GENUINE KINDNESS.

❝ Princess Dizzy Tremaine. It just rolls off the tongue, don’t you agree? ❞

Dizzy was fighting back the urge to burst into giggles, her eyes were bright - she felt happy right now, “That does sound nice - but I’m not a Princess, not really - my.. my mother wasn’t one - but being a Princess doesn’t matter to me. I prefer you being one..” She loved seeing Evie this way, so happy and light - so kind and gentle. Without a pause she reached out, wrapping her arms around the older teens waist.

“Evie - if I was a Princess, what would that mean? Would.. would people treat me differently?”

“Well I’m no mind reader, but I’m sure that they’ll be more than HAPPY to see you again.” The De Vil teen laughs at Dizzy’s comment about Mal’s hair after what he had said. “Don’t you worry. Mal’s stuck with the PURPLE HAIR we all know her well for. As for the letter, Evie is helping King Ben with bringing more kids off the Isle and into Auradon. She’s going to make a LIST and soon we’ll all get a chance at a better life. So you’re basically the start of the SECOND WAVE.”

As Carlos spoke, Dizzy shook her head, smiling softly, “I hope so - I’ve missed you guys.” With that spoken she hugs him lightly once again before laughing happily, “I hope so - Purple suits her so much better than blonde does, why did she think that was a good look?” She shrugged at her own question before staring at Carlos when he spoke of the list and plans to help the other children still on the Isle, “Really? Thats really happening?” She felt like crying for a moment before clutching his hand happily, “Do you think we will get to help too?”

Slowly I will be working on getting things back into action around here, I have all my things drafted, so - progress is being made! <3

Carlos’ grin BRIGHTENS, laughing along with her as she squirmed when he messed with her hair. Of course he lets up, listening to Dizzy and practically SHARING IN on her EXCITEMENT for finally being here in AURADON. An excitement so CONTAGIOUS he doesn’t even know if he can stop himself from smiling at all. He was really glad that Dizzy was here, that she was going to get that same CHANCE as them. “I can definitely tell you that you aren’t dreaming at all. You’re REALLY here and I’m sure the others would love to see you too. Well, Evie goes without saying, but I’m sure the SAME can be said for Mal and Jay.”

Dizzy giggles softly, her hands still holding onto Carlos - her eyes were bright and her cheeks were starting to hurt - but all she felt was a pure happiness unlike any she had experienced before in her life. She was here - she was really here in Auradon! She nodded slightly when Carlos spoke, bouncing a little again, “Do you really think so? I can’t wait to see them again - I need to check on Mal’s hair too, I hope she didn’t go back to that washed out blonde again.” A quick breath and she was speaking up again, “Carlos  - Evie’s name was on the letter I got from the King... is she helping him save the other children on the Isle?”

“The campus, where you’ll be staying.” Evie had wanted Dizzy in a room close by, it took some savvy negotiating skills but the king managed to wrangle it.

Ben listened to her questions and nodded. “When I heard you were coming I cleared my schedule.” Really the only thing he was missing was brunch with Audrey and her parents and he wasn’t too keen on seeing them after what happened at cotillion. “I have fun; school functions, helping others, sports, I’m pretty good at sports.” He said proudly. “King, it’s a very official title but there is room for fun.” He assured her.

Honestly Dizzy was extremely relieved, one of the things she had been worried about was ending up far from those she knew. Knowing that Evie was going to be close by - that she’d be basically just a door or two away - that eased a lot of her anxieties and allowed the excitement to return once again.

Ben was nice. It made her smile and feel that extra bit special to hear that he had cleared his busy schedule. “Well - I hope you do have fun, its important - even when you have jobs and responsibilities, without fun - you become rather boring.” She gave a quick little giggle, her smile softening, “I could help you have some fun too, Evie says I’m pretty fun”
