LIFE UPDATE: Unfortunately, it’ll STILL take a couple weeks to get my paycheck at this new job regular as I have to pass a certification test, which costs $85 to take, before I can go into the field and do more and be paid more than just my shadow sessions at minimum wage. I am still going through anxiety medication trials, and my mental health is still not great as a result. I will still probably have to call off work once or twice in the coming weeks, because I am having migraines as well from going off HRT (I was only planning on being on it for a year). I have an extensive test to study for (for my new job) and application fees to pay for all while I’m battling these medication side effects. The only thing that reliably helps my anxiety rn is CBD vapes, but those are expensive even in Cali. All of this is on top of the fact I can’t see my therapist regularly at the moment because I am deeply in debt with her and need to pay off my back copays before I make more appointments and add to that debt.

Yesss, I cannot stand bmc. I think that maybe it’s made for younger tweens, like ages 10-12 maybe? But def not award worthy. It’s also problematic in how every single girl in it is presented as a sex object/ romantic interest. And homophobia is played off as a joke (like haha they r friends they could be boyfriends ha. Gay.And the homophobia is never corrected. ) Which causes young girls to ship them together when there is real Lgbt+ rep in musicals other than skinny straight white boys.

I wouldn’t go so far as to say I can’t stand it but I have a lot of trouble taking it seriously because of all the ~shippers~ and things on here like it kind of makes me roll my eyes every time I see it
