Hey so can they make doors wider. Please. My wheelchair can’t fit through basically any of the fucking doors like, ever. “What, is there a giant that needs to fit through here? 🤣” (real thing I’ve been told) no. I use a wheelchair you ableist fuck. And you’ll never guess what… wheelchairs need extra space! Crazy!

Don’t even get me fucking STARTED on elevator entrances that are so small that I can barely get in or out of them in a safe manner. Recently I was having so much trouble reversing out of an elevator because it was so small that the doors started closing in before I had gotten out. Luckily I had my best friend with me to stop the doors, but what the fuck??

I'm so fucking pissed off right now that none of my conditions ever have an easy treatment. I just keep getting more and more diagnoses and adding more and more treatments. I love getting answers to shit that's been affecting me for years, but they're never the answers that I wanted to hear.

There's always more medication. More therapies. More limitations.

Sometimes I despair about my wardrobe, but then I go out and make an effort to dress up and realize that the process of “dressing up” (i.e. it’s not my usual disabled chic lounge pants and t-shirts) is draining. I get home exhausted, and undressing is even more draining. Taking jeans off when your back is spasming? Not fun.

So fuck it, I’m gonna keep dressing like I’m not even trying cause very few occasions are worth the effort that’s gonna add to my pain.

i love being a mobility aid user because youll be like "hey dont ask me if something is wrong with me/ what happened if youre a stranger, its weird and invasive" or "dont touch and move my crutches without asking, thats just strange" or "dont try and "help" me without asking if i need help first" and people will crash the fuck out like "WOW IM JUST TRYING TO HELP. AND BE NICE. AM I NOT ALLOWED TO BE NICE."
