TLDR: her dad (an alchemist) was playin with her when she was little but had to dip for a sec, leaving a very curious lil Sam unattended in his lab full of dangerous magic ingredients :( lab goes kaboom when Sam puts her lil kiddie mitts on her dad's shit and got a nasty alchemical burn that does random stuff when she's stressed ;u; now in her 20s she seeks out her dad to tell her she's sorry for tampering and getting him kicked out the house :(((
