but then also that comes back to my thing abt how i don't rly buy that a relationship between a bisexual man and a bisexual woman is "just as queer" or whatever as a relationship between two men or two women. bc like while i'm willing to believe that we relate to each other differently from how two straight people would we're still existing in the world as a man and a woman dating each other which is viewed differently from same gender relationships. and also we both grew up internalizing messages about how relationships between men and women should work so we're not immune to reproducing those dynamics just bc both of us could also hypothetically be in same gender relationships. does that make sense.
