ENA: Dream BBQ (Chapter 1)
Absurd and wonderful. The sound design is out of this world, it made the atmosphere for me.

RETURN OF THE OBRA DINN
This is the most phenomenal investigation game I have ever played. It's just incredible the entire way through. The soundscape makes this game, the music, the voice acting, the effects - all are top of the line quality. Holy shit.

Here it is. No roguelites, no collections, no endless mode, these are all games that have a definitive end (afaik)
Lots to do!

THE ROOTTREES ARE DEAD
An absolutely phenomenal deduction game that captivated me for two days straight. I opened this game those two days and suddenly it was five and a half hours later. I sat through the entire hollowtones 50 turn mario party stream while playing this game.
Oh, 100% on achievements BTW. Massive thanks to the steam user that provided nudging hints instead of just telling you what to do. That being said, virtually all of my playtime and progress was completely hintless. I've always said I'm good at finding things on the internet!

THE ROOM 4: OLD SINS
At last, the tetralogy is complete! Really enjoyed the pseudo-nonlinearity of the dollhouse as a kind of hub world of puzzle rooms, but as with 1 and 2, there's one visually stunning path forward. Personally I think The Room 3 is the best, but all four hold a special place in my heart, especially since the first game was one of the earliest mobile games I ever played.
#the room 4: old sins#the room series#the room game#its a shame this series shares a name with that movie cause it makes it impossible to find anyone else talking about it#achievements#completion#tyfp
