ok cynicism aside I'm gonna be #real for a second. I actually got to meet Saori and she was so sweet and lovely and truly an amazing performer. So unreal that I got to see her!

I worked up the courage to ask her about Aira Mitsuki and if she knew if Aira planned on making more music. The answer seemed to be... Probably not :( But we do have confirmation that she's still alive 😭. Saori said she would pass on that I really loved her music to her which was really nice :')))

I was tempted to ask about Terukado too but I wasn't sure if that would be appropriate. The reasons she and Aira left D-topia were always super vague and felt kinda sketchy so I didn't want to dredge up any bad feelings...

Imagine going back in time to 2015 and telling the Tumblr J-electro community that 10 years later not only will the artist formerly known as Saori@destiny and now Saoriiiii go on on to change her stage name AGAIN, she will also come to the UK and perform in a basement to a room of Central St Martin's nepo babies that don't know who she is. No one would believe you.
