Concept: a childhood friends AU for Nurseydex, in which one or both of them had nicknames growing up (my money is on Dex having gone by Billy or Liam or something else that's not 100% obvious as being a form of William, at least to a small child), and then one of them moved away, and it takes them a while to put two and two together when they re-meet each other at Samwell. Bonus points if Nursey didn't have a nickname as a kid, so Dex knows the whole time and assumes Nursey knows and just hasn't brought it up because he hates Dex now.
