|            ❨ Corrin had almost been too lost in thought to note she had in fact dropped her attuned dragonstone. She snapped back into reality once Azura’s voice rang through the air, cutting it clear and sweet. A serene smile replaced her rather melancholic facial expression as she took the stone from Azura’s palms. ❩

|             ❝ Oh, Azura… Thank you. I’m sorry, I’ve been thinking for a while on a number of things, it must’ve slipped my mind… And hands. ❞

|            ❨ A slight chuckle escaped her mouth at her poke of fun.❩

      Azura returned the smile to her trusted companion. A soft sigh escaping her lips while her fingers loosely intertwined with each other over her stomach. Her smile was replaced with a hint of concern, but it was subtle. Azura wasn’t one to be very expressive, but the slightest twitch at the edge of her lips could be much more telling than what people may think.

       “Ah, is that so?... Are you worried about the future?”

       A daring question perhaps. Azura knew the responsibility that Corrin had to carry and weigh on her shoulders. Despite her royal bloodline and the dragons veins that ran through her, she was still after all a being with feelings, insecurities, and troubles.

      “If you wish to speak about it, please don’t hesitate. We are friends, are we not?”

     “Kamui.. If I may?”

       The songstress seemed slightly tense as she quietly walked up to her trusted companion. With the others moving  to the kitchen with their plates and bowls, Aqua decided that confronting her after dinner was the best way to discuss her worries. 

“I apologize for the sudden confrontation.. I’ve just had something on my mind lately. You seem.. a little stressed, if I may put it bluntly.”

     “Corrin, you dropped this.”

        Azura held out the same dragonstone she had given to the other on the day the tragic incident had shaken Hoshido. With such a stone, Azura could easily recall the memories. Their wandering and battles together had been tiring ones, but the friendship that had unfolded between them is one that will always be refreshing and blooming. 

     “You really need to be more careful with your belongings..”

A soothing melody escaped the songstress lips. Her toes dipping into the water while her legs moved slowly and gracefully through the water. Azura ran her fingers through her hair as she continued humming the familiar melody. 

     But her song had interrupted once she heard a branch split into two, and she quickly turned her head to look at the person before her. Silas. Her shoulders relaxed once more, but not fully. She had a feeling of tension in her body as she slowly rose from the edge of the bridge, only to turn around and look at the Cavalier curiously.

     “Silas, what are you doing here?”
