AAC Blocks
AAC or Autoclaved Aerated Concretes are precast, lightweight, foam concrete building material that is good for producing concrete units like blocks. It contains quartz sand, cement, lime, water, gypsum and aluminium powder. These are autoclaved under heat and pressure. The AAC Blocks that are made from these AAC materials are lightweight and durable than traditional blocks
It was invented in mid 1920s.
