I didn't even notice the sparkly Jesus rock until after I'd taken the picture 😅

Uh-oh... this particular fire hydrant has gotten on the orange cone gang's bad side. Hydrant kidnapping in progress! 😱

A symbiotic relationship.
The cone helps hold the dumpster's lid when it's tired and needs some extra airflow to its insidey-parts, and the dumpster provides a bit of shade and protects the cone from being hit by cars.

Some coneography from around a decade ago (if I'm remembering right), when someone crunched the outer wall of this Subway and a cone had to tape off the area to let the humans know it needed to get fixed.
This Subway has since relocated into a weird tiny space in another building, and a vape store has opened up in its place.

I wonder why these two have a shovel...

One of these cones lost its sign... and somehow broke something in the process. Not even sure what that electronic looking crunched piece is, part of a light that fell from its pole, maybe? I didn't poke at it to find out.
(I grabbed that sign while I had the chance, though since it was lying there loose on the ground... it's a basement decoration now 😅)

This one is still holding up the sign with no issues.

Cone funeral in progress.
Notice that the cone lying on the ground is completely missing the black hexagonal "base" part that the others like it have... a sure sign that a cone really has died.

An unusual species of cone encountered last weekend.
Seems closely related to the indoor "wet floor" cone, but adapted for an outdoor parking lot environment.

The reason for their apparent affinity for duct tape, however, is still unknown.

Recently I finally managed to get pictures of this cone in someone's yard...
...which has been painted up to look like Patrick from Spongebob! For some reason.

Definitely the most unusual cone I've stumbled across so far.

Stumbled across this in my Facebook memories the other day. Someone made a crochet cone! With eyes in (roughly) the correct location and everything.
(Sadly, I don't recall who made it, and I had a bit of a "duh moment" and didn't put any such information in the filename when I saved this picture to my computer... I could probably dig that information up if needed, though I'd have to spend an hour or two poking through old Facebook posts looking for it and I'd rather not.)

A gang of cones herding their pet Snort into the car wash...
Kinda like when your dog really needs a bath but really does not want one, so it's going to take everybody in the house working together to get that puppy in the bathtub. 😅
