Being an adult and having a busy life sometimes makes the experience of being a mahou a little lonely... I don't always have the time or the energy to live... Let alone do my magical things, Working on my concept, taking care of my mahou blog, using my powers to fight... Sometimes I wish I had more time....Sorry for the long confession lol, I just wanted to get this off my chest

honestly as ive grown as a magi ive realized i dont need to do shit everyday and thats so calming.. like i used to stress about constantly doing things but now i know i dont and i dont do much anymore

my concept is sort of subtle, like there’s not a big transformation or fancy outfit, it’s just me using the gifts God gave me to help others. And it’s nice! 10/10 would recommend.

slight TW: loss of a loved one (household cat)

so last night I started my Magical Girl journey by talking with cerberus via the key of Clow as a pendulum (yes I actually have one!), everything was going good, and I asked for a sign in a dream (this is very important later).

i went to bed, hoping I would get one, and later that night I woke up from a nightmare that one of my cats succumbed to her illness. I just really hope it isn't a prophetic dream. I'm so scared.

i’m so sorry, that sounds terrifying! i’d just remember that a lot of prophetic dreams (if this was a prophetic dream and not anxiety or something else bubbling up) are very symbol-based and metaphorical, so maybe try looking at the dream in a different way!

i’d try and think of what your cat represents to you. for example, if your cat reminds you of your childhood, then maybe it could be saying something about the end of your childhood. i wouldn’t panic right now.

I can't help being so nervous over being a magical hero. Like... I'm not even sure I can call myself a magical girl considering I'm. Well. In my 20s. Surely it's not too late for me, yeah?

honestly until i became a magical girl and actually start fighting i never realized how lonely it can feel💀like im glad theres a tumblr community and disc servers for it, but other than that and 3 close friends i have practically nobody to tell or talk to about my journey. i wouldnt call myself an open person but i wouldnt say im reserved either. i think other magi’s can understand, but it feels odd knowing u have to keep it sectet

yeah, i tend to feel really lonely as well. i’d advise you to try and grow your bonds with the friends you already have, and maybe tell them how you’re feeling!

I've fought in the astral and had many other experiences, so I FULLY believe in being a magi. But I honestly don't mind if being a magical girl is a "delusion" or just "lucid dreaming" or whatever. Because honestly the way I view it and other beliefs / religions is that even if my experiences were never real it helped me in life a LOT and was never harmful. I'll genuinely never regret being a magical girl anyways. Being an irl magi has genuinely helped me and taught me so much!

i think of it as a puzzle, you can’t force a piece that doesn’t fit into that specific part of the puzzle to fit right in. consider a different approach, and rethink your motives.

i’m sorry to here that, i hope things are going better for you now!

the harsh truth is that sometimes things don’t always go as we want when trying to become a magical hero, i know firsthand.

for the longest time i wanted to be a puella magi, and i would try EVERY NIGHT for months at a time, with little results. but the thing is that your mahouness should suit you, you shouldn’t force yourself into a role that isn’t working for you.

i’m not saying you should immediately give up, but if things don’t improve, i’d consider tweaking your methods and/or concept. for example, i switched to a concept that better suited my skills and beliefs, and it’s been much more easygoing! so whatever you do, may you find happiness.

I'm a mg, but ive got so many negative thoughts and disorders that sometimes im not sure if i create more negativity than i banish

I try so hard but i keep spawning more nightmares than i take down whenever im having an episode

as humans, we all both contribute negatively and positively to the earth. there’s so many ways to unintentionally harm others, from saying things that unknowingly hurt others to buying products that harm the environment. so, how can one possibly be a positive force? it’s all about trying. trying to do good, even in the smallest ways, because a lot of people don’t even try at all. you have power, whether you believe it or not, to influence others.

what does any of this have to do with your confession? not much tbh. i just hope that it reminds you that as long as your giving the effort to make the world a better place, you’re making it a lot better. and the fact that you’re doing so even with everything holding you back? im impressed!! if you’re constantly looking at everything you think is creating negativity, you’re going to just make yourself miserable.

dust yourself off, look at your achievements with pride, and remember that despite everything you tell yourself, you ARE a positive force of change.
