“There’s a party at [name]’s house. You coming?”

“We’re headed to Times Square to watch the ball drop. You can tag along if you want.”

nodding slowly , she seats herself in a nearby chair , file slapped onto her lap . scanning the information below , her brows raise , lips unconsciously drawling out her words .  ❛     oooookay . so i know you’ll probably think the paperwork is unnecessary , considering this is just a quick check - up , buuut it’s sort of required for me to take notes on little things for legal purposes so        i’ll just make this quick since i know you’re both dying to get out of here .    ❜ pen in hand , she gives a forced wink , index fingers pointed at them as she clicks her tongue .  it’s followed by her clearing her throat , something mumbled under her breath .  ❛    right , i‘ll stop that now .    ❜  maybe she should just run ?

Still, there was no doubt she was worried - any mother would be. If her son was ill or in any kind of pain, physical or not, Paige would do whatever she could in order to make him feel better. One hand continuously rubs the side of his arm, only stopping when she leans forth to speak to the nurse.  ❛ —— Sure, that’s fine. ❜  She says in regards to the notes. As long as it ends up with Ralph getting the help he needed, she didn’t really mind.
