An Kxo Loanwords
Eventually the An made contact with humans and needed words for things that they didn't have in their culture. This is what they came up with:
Take the word (gun)
remove the vowels (g-n)
lengthen or shorten the word to comply with AK part of speech rules (g-n-n)
transliterate the word (g-n-n [ɢ-ɴ-ɴ])
inflect (ganynö ERG, gwnanö ACC)

An Kxo Grammar Skeleton
Nouns
Nouns have triconsonantal roots and the vowels placed around them depend on the gender of the noun.
Verbs
Verbs are conjugated for person (1, 2, 3, 4) number (single, dual, plural), mood (a lot of them), tense (non-future, future). The roots verb of the verb are segmented into the subject part, the mood part, and the tense part. Each part gets a different part of the consonantal root. The structure of the verb is:
subject(1) - mood(2,3) - tense(4)
Subject
The vowels around consonant 1 mark the subject. AK tracks 4 persons, 3 numbers, and 2 (main) genders (white and red). It also has an inclusive/exclusive distinction for the 2nd person.
Mood
The vowels around consonants 2 and 3 mark the mood. The moods are separated into groups based on their vowels.
Indicative:
indicative
empathetic
Commanding:
imperative/jussive
optative/permissive
interrogative
conditional
necessitative
Subjunctive:
subjunctive
a subgroup of forms from vestigial evidentials that are super fucked-up:
potential
desiritative
dubiative
hypothetical
volitive
tense
The two tenses are future and non-future. There might be past, present, and future in the future but shrug noise.
