It took Connar a few seconds to realize that Egon was attempting to soothe her. While she had had many encounters with ghosts since meeting Egon, this situation brought her a little closer to death than she was fully prepared for. She made herself take a few more breaths before turning her head to him to acknowledge his delicate touch.

"That was a bit too close for comfort, huh?"

She made a small smile, but one could tell it was forced. She felt a slight frog in her throat building up and tears welling in her eyes, but she didn't want to make him feel any worse than he probably already did for putting her life at risk.

"I'm glad you're okay..."

A single tear ran down her cheek, but she quickly tried to wipe it away to dismiss it. She felt silly for crying. If anything, this was probably all her emotions from the encounter welling up at once, but nonetheless, she felt like it made her look weak.
